They do not even pack packing between the speaker and the cardboard box.

5-1/4 inch woofer review. I mounted it acoustic suspension / sealed box. Warm sounding voices, with fairly good instrumental detail / presence, and fairly good tight bass, but not the deepest I've heard from a 5 1/4 inch speaker. Compared with Dayton Classic woofer, also available around the same price, this Goldwood speaker definitely is more pleasant / warmer sounding (guessing it's better balanced with the lower midrange and less harsh around 2-3 MHz range. In contrast, the Dayton 5 1/4 sounds a bit hinner / hollower, with the vocals and instruments being more harsh, kind of fatiguing to my ear, but Dayton has appreciably deeper bass extension. For vocals, pop, country, rock varieties, I like this Goldwood. For house / rap, the Dayton Classic bass is unreal, basically a like a little subwoofer.

Buen sonido básico, acompañado de un buen tweeter o bala de titanio, el sonido es agradable. El imán es robusto para la potencia que maneja y el cono se ve durable.

Replaced a blown bass driver from my tower speakers with one of these. Mounted perfectly and sounds as good or better than the original!

I put these in some rear-ported bookshelf enclosures, and after 2-3 weeks of playing them at no more than half volume on a 250-300w Yamaha receiver, they've both collapsed in, bending the speaker surrounds and cones.

La entrega en tiempo y bien protegida. Los estoy usando en open baffle y se escuchan bastante bien. Tenía dudas sobre la sensibilidad de 87db, pero para mi espacio de 21m2 es más que suficiente.

I used these to fill a hole in some MCM Custom Audio 8" Monitors ( Blown Woofers ) and I'm using them with the cross overs in them and they sound really good.... The only problem is the low sensitivity ( 87db ) and you have to crank up the volume on the amp... Oh... You have to let them break in for at least 10 hours...Then I pulled them out of the MCM Custom Audio 8" Monitors 'cause I didn't like the sound in them so I put some GRS 8" Full Range Speakers that I got some where else and now they Kick... So I put them in some Realistic 8" speakers I got from Goodwill some years ago and for some strange reason they sound really good...
