Your cart is empty.Geberit flush valve won't seal properly and is constantly passing water into the toilet pan but there is no sign of an inlet valve failure, it could very well be that the base sealing washer need to be changed. Overtime as the flush valve is opened and closed, small imperfections tend to occur in the surface of the rubber washer causing the washer to be warped and not providing an adequate seal.

Buying this saved us lots of money repairing a leaky toilet tank valve with the assistance of the YouTube video describing how to fix it. The seal is holding well and is the right fit. Great value if it holds up over time.

The way this pkg came packaged led me to question if it was an original part. My partner who is a plumber went to a plumbing store and the item comes with company logo and information on pkg which this item did not. The picture was also deceiving although description did say it was one piece the picture shows three different gaskets in different in sizes

The item has generit brand and product code on it. Fits perfectly on geberit flush valve type 250s. Lately I hv notice t toilet doing intermittent refill. Suspect t flush seal not proper hence leaking and refilling. There were 2 blisters formed on the old seal preventing the valve to close properly. The new seal solves the problem.

At first, I thought that the whole flush mechanism was kaput, but after reading a review on the mechanism a wise plumbing sage said, "Before you replace the mechanism, check the flush valve." So, I ordered two of the replacement Valve Seals 816-418 00 1. The flush mechanism has two tabs on the side. Simply pull these out from the bottom and Voila! The whole thing comes out. Replacement took 30 seconds. Pop the thing back into the hold and no more worries. That was one year ago. One of my other toilets had the same problem, and thankfully I had the other valve seal. No more worries! Ordering another for my third toilet so I'll be prepared again, ahead of time. Saved me money, grief and ignorance.
