I ordered two (2) of these gaskets and both arrived separately. The packaging has the exact part number and was intact. Unfortunately, only one gasket was the correct size. It appears the manufacturer incorrectly packaged the gasket. The correct gasket (GP83888) is higher in height and smaller center circumference. Putting them next to each other is obvious one was incorrectly packaged.Amazon did allow us to replace the incorrect item and did not require me to return the incorrect gasket. I am awaiting the replacement gasket and hope it is the correct gasket in the packaging.Update: I received the replacement gasket and it is the wrong part inside the GP83888 packaging. I am returning it for a refund.

This is the seal for the flush valve housing. It is for single piece Kohler toilets. In particular, I used it on T33 UPC K3425. It stopped all the dripping and leaking which came from the old seal. The installation was not a breeze, I'm afraid. After removing the flash valve and the old seal, I had a difficult time reinstalling the flash valve as it attaches to the toilet tank against this new seal. I must have tried a dozen times. Eventually, I brute-forced it at the risk of breaking the flash valve clips, but it eventually worked. I will still give it five stars.

I have tried the universal brand even the supposedly ‘original’ part bought from Mercari. None works until I bought the original part from here. Lesson learned.

After some starts and stops with buying the incorrect parts that were recommended on Amazon, this was the right part to teplace the gasket an older Kohler Rialto toilet flapper assembly. This model needs a tapered gasket on one end and other gaskets I had purchased were not. I repaired two of these toilets using these gaskets. I used a clamp & 2 pieces of wood to compress 1 gasket and tossed it into the freezer per others recommendations and it went in a LITTLE easier than the one that was not frozen.

Cheaper than replacing a toilet. Old gasket was hard and leaking. No problem now.

On my toilet it took a good (but not huge) amount of downward force on the main unit with the new gasket in place to be able to twist the unit the necessary 60 degrees; once I applied enough force, the unit twisted pretty easily. FWIW, this gasket has a partially beveled edge, rather than a similar Kohler gasket that is straight cylindrical; and my old gasket was green coloured (at least when I replaced it...).

This stopped my leak. Installing it wasn’t hard but cleaning out the tank on my Rosario toilet is a pain because of the way it’s designed. I wasn’t able to do a through job of getting all the water out and that’s why I expect this gasket to fail in about 20 months like the last one. It’s not exactly a fault of the gasket itself but an issue with the way the overall system was designed. Once the tank gets contaminated, it’s really hard to clean it out with the toilet in place.

It's the only place I could purchase this gasket without buying the flush valve as well. It's a bit difficult to install but I put vaseline on the flush valve and under the little triangles and to the underside of the opening. I otherwise couldn't turn it. I did have to remove and add silicone under the gasket because my toilet still lost a bit of water and I'd changed the water intake valve as well.I'd certainly buy from this seller again. I had the part within one week of ordering and was an original Kohler part not a knockoff. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because there were no installation instructions/tips at all or else they would have gotten 5 stars.
