Part was authentic GE part and exactly what I needed to fit my older GE profile ice bucket. Ice crushing problem is fixed. Easy replacement thanks to YouTube instructional videos to follow. Received very quickly. Ships from sold by Amazon.

Like everyone else has mentioned, this fixed my ice maker! Part was OEM and was the perfect solution to an ice maker that won’t dispense ice on a GE refrigerator.

The flattened part of the hole that the rod slides through on this part gets rounded over time because it is under a lot of force when crushing ice. If you use only cubes, you will probably find that your machine doesn't sound like it's about explode while not dispensing any ice.I couldn't get my family members to quit crushing ice so when I last replaced this part, I also took out the control panel and removed the button under the crushed ice function. Problem solved! No more problems with ice not coming out because the rod is spinning inside the crusher blade and not turning spiral rod that carries the iced toward the dispenser hold. The crusher blade will surely last a much longer time now that it is not getting the center hole rounded off.

This part didn't get to me on time so had to get it from another source, but if your GE ice bucket drive cups are breaking it's because this part is worn out. It's mounted at the rear of the white plastic wheel located front side of ice bucket. If the wheel spins freely when u give it a turn, this plate needs replacing. Plenty of online how to videos show how.

Perfect replacement for my GE crusher blade that had worn out. Was easy to install once I had the ice maker bucket apart.

Old one pictured had a small rounding which caused the auger to slip in the helix. The aluminum auger drives the helix and rounds it out further. The New helix works to drive the helix after replacement for a low cost fix. Try to see if this is rounded which is only possible after removing the auger.
