We purchased a home and discovered this bracket was not installed. We had an inspection when getting the gas line run for our grill outside and learned this bracket was necessary for the code inspection. The inspector was great and came back once this was installed so the work could be signed off on.The bracket worked perfectly for our GE Cafe range

I bought this for my daughter’s place. There’s a 2year old and a new born. Install was easy - especially when the little ones were at the park. And really does prevent the stove from tipping over. I just can’t figure out why we didn’t do this sooner

As many reviewers seem to have done, I purchased this as we were prepping our home for sale, knowing that Home Inspectors always write this up in their inspections as a repair. For about $14 and moments of my time it was an easy fix.One thing that made deducing the placement easier was the fact that there was dust on the floor from sanding walls that I hadn't cleaned up yet, so it was readily visible where the stove's legs go. So if you have any issues trying to align everything, put something dusty down for a bit, push your stove in and out, and voila!
