The purpose of this item is to prevent debris from falling between the stove and counter top. It simply does not do that. To be effective it would need to extend over both sides. It extends over only one.Over priced and poorly designed.

These worked perfectly for the gap between my stove and granite countertops. Easy to figure out and install. Length adjustment is great and offers versatility. Beware the only negative I experienced is although they seem durable for their intended use the metal edges are sharp. I ended up cutting my finger when trying to remove them to readjust. This could be avoided by using a knife or something similar to slide between guard and counter when pulling up.

I like using this on the side of my stove. It really prevents food and other debris from getting stuff in between the countertop and the stove. They are easy to remove so you can clean underneath and then very easily can slide back into.They are expandable so you can make them longer or shorter depending on your needs. I highly recommend.

These come in 2 pieces so that you can adjust it to the depth you need for your counter top/stove. It works well although it isn't securely opened and slides too easily. It is serving the purpose though and that is good.
