These are great for saving space in the garage. I like how the hooks come with a rubber to protect the rims and a tray to keep the walls clean. I didn't use the tray for the bottom tire, but it is great that it comes with it. I'm happy with the purchase, but I must point out that sometimes the hooks flop down making it challenging to get the bike wheel into the hook.

Nice little set of 4 hooks... quite a reasonable solution for getting 4 bikes up off the floor and onto the wall.Specs for the max weight are listed as 55lbs in the photos, then 65lbs in the notes below, then 75lbs in the install instructions (attached)... but I'd probably have other concerns if my bicycle is weighing as much as any of those! The other limit is they've warned that the hooks aren't for fat tires, but nothing I'd be hanging would have a tire over 2.5 inchesI'm not a huge fan of the plastic wall anchors, so I'd probably suggest upgrading those - but it's nice that they were provided.Sturdy little product for a reasonable price.

These are exactly the same as other wall mounts I have except for one very important thing. The hook that holds the wheel is not welded / fixed in place so it flops down flat against the wall! This makes it very difficult to get your bike wheel onto the hook.You have to lift the hook away from the mount and hold it that way while you lift the bike's wheel into the hook then somehow release your hold on both the bike and the hook without dropping the bike, hitting your head on something, or pinching your fingers. I thought there must be a way to lock the hook into the useful position, but nope - not possible. Pretty ridiculous.The maximum tire size is about 2.4" and one side has an annoying flange that unnecessarily limits the tire width for no reason. This flange just makes it extra impossible to get the bike into the mount.I only gave it two stars because the construction otherwise is solid enough and maybe some people are just that much more coordinated than I am.

First, none of the review are for the four individual hangers. They are all four a different product. So pay attention to what you're reading. The four hangers that I bought are just about perfect. Except there is nothing to keep the hook from falling down flush with the wall/hanger. So you need to hold your bike up with one hand and raise the hook a bit so you can get the wheel in. As I'm writing this I'm realizing I don't want to have to do that. It's going back. Shame, once the bike is in it's perfect, fits my 2.4 tires and is easy to install.

These hangers are quite easy to install, although I did not use the supplied screws, since mine went into cinder block in my garage. Instead I used concrete screws. Once the hangers were up, I carefully hung the bikes to find out where the lower wall protector should go. It wasn't really necessary on my wall, but I had them, so I installed them. They call for 4 screws, but I used two, as they're not holding a load, just keeping your tire from leaving marks on the wall.These would work great in a place without a garage, and although I didn't strictly need them , the wall protectors would be nice inside. I would recommend being careful what you screw into - make sure you hit a stud on a drywall installation for the hangers.

I installed some of these bike hangers in my shed and I was able to hang some kids bikes. I haven't tried it indoors but my guess is that it would work OK with the second wheel stopper.

As far as standard wheel-hook style bike mounts go, these are a great option. They use a very sturdy, thick steel, the hooks have a lot of padding to protect your bike, the kit includes all the required hardware, and even include a rear tire plate to avoid scuffs on the wall. Do note, one of the screw heads sheared off when installing into a stud, so I am deducting a point. Otherwise, everything went perfectly for this install and I am very satisfied with these mounts.

My son and I have been on a clean up campaign to clear out the back porch of all unwanted stuff, and these bicycle hangers were the first thing on our list!It is very heavy duty and easy to install. We built a frame to hang all three bikes, and now that has cleared up quite a bit of space on the back porch.If you have bicycles and you need them off the floor, these hangers are excellent.
