Your cart is empty.The Elevate Outdoor Bicycle Hanger mounts to a garage or shed ceiling and uses a unique pulley driven system, hoist four bicycles up to 13 feet out of the way for ceiling storage. Includes two adjustable claws per hoist, designed to hook on the bicycle seat and handlebars for support. Each bike hoist includes a wall-mount rope tie-bar for securing rope after hoisting, a built-in rope brake, pulley mounts, and mounting screws. Please note: Alternate sized screws and/or wood may be required for installation depending on spacing between overhead joists. Each pulley mounting plate measures 9.875" L by 3.375" W by 3" H overall. Steel construction with a black paint finish. Maximum 44-pound capacity per hoist.

Used these for kayaks instead of bikes and they held up perfectly. These were much less expensive than kayak ones and weight rated plenty enough for the kayaks. You get a lot of the hoisting rope so you can anchor it a good distance from where you mount them. Good smooth pulley's and easy stops.

Rope supplied with the kit is very flimsy, keeps getting stuck on side of rollers. I replaced the rope with a thicker material, and had to squeeze the roller casing to prevent any slips. The two support for the bike are not safe, they keep slipping off the seat or the handlebar, had to cut them off and replace with steel hooks, to hook on to the bar and the seat. I spent more money fixing this poorly manufactured equipment, then I spent on the cheap equipment. Don't wast your time and money like I did, find a more reputable company who manufactures a better quality equipment, you dont need bike falling on your van, very bad purchase

This a very reliable hoist, the rope is strong and the construction is sound. It was also fun to measure and put together. I used hooks drilled into the ceiling before, which hurt my back every time I had to turn the bike upside down and hoist it upwards. I severely recommend this for people without a bike rack and people with ceiling hooks.

I am an amateur home improvement weekend warrior. I was able to mount them. Following previously posted advice, I attached the pulley system to the board and then mounted to board to the rafters. I had to mount mine on the slope of the roof line and it still works great. However, because it is mounted so high, it is difficult to release the rope break to lower the bikes because of the angle needed....I'll solve that as a future weekend project.Really enjoying the bikes (I bought two) so high and out of the way and I don't have to struggle to get them up and down like big hooks. Rope and pulley operation is smooth. I recommend this product.

This hoist system is a great way to elevate your bike up in the rafters of your garage. But, I found out the hard way after installing and raising my bike that the hoist is not made for low ceilings. The instructions are sub pair, not noting that you should not place too close to the walls of your garage.

We made a Snow Sled this year and didn't want to remake one each year so wanted these hoist to hang in my garage they work perfect they they were shipped when they said and have had a lot of people ask where I got them.

Great hoist. Wonderful price and would purchase another and will recommend. Since I was privy to the need of additional screws needed from reading previous reviews I followed the instructions provided, added boards with large wood screws between the joists after measuring according to the instructions. Then hung the hoists utilizing the screws they sent to the boards and the hoist was installed perfectly and works great.Thanks to reviews, a purchaser can save money and time when installing.
