The lids: As stated in the title 2 out of the 6 lids were cracked upon arrival. They were split in exactly the same place as other purchasers had indicated in their supplied photos so this seems to be a known problem. I’m surprised that the manufacturer hasn’t modified the lids at this point to make it thicker in the center where all the cracks originatedPoly Farm: Seems like a good vendor selling an iffy product. These lids works as intended and are easy to attach to existing buckets. So much easier to access food stored in buckets now.

You cannot go wrong with gamma lids. I was not looking for multi-colored - I was looking for the least expensive. I do have to say it is fun having the different colors! And of course they work great! It's just too bad that inflation is making everything cost so much more.

I have a micro dairy and I bought some of these lids for my wash buckets and liked them so well that I purchased more for grain buckets in the milk barn. Each cow gets a different measured amount of grain when they are being milked. I use a different coloured lid for each cow so I don't grab the wrong bucket. The lids also offer a good air tight seal. Works for me!

These gamma seal lids seemed really pricey and I was reluctant to order. But I am so glad I did.Wow. So worth it. Takes all the aggravation out of opening and closing these buckets. Glides open and closed smoothly and saves both your nails and your temper. They fit beautifully on both a food grade bucket and the typical 5 gallon Lowes bucket.These lids appear to be study and well-made. I would not leave the buckets out in the weather. Mine are inside.You WILL likely need a rubber mallet to hammer them into place. Don't be afraid to apply some force to the lid when assembling. If you don't have a rubber mallet, use a heavy folded towel and short side of a 2x4 to force the life onto the bucket.For me, getting buying the 6 various colors was well worth he extra cost. You can color code the contents at a glance. Highly recommended.

Amazing!!! These are really so airtight that I am fighting to open them. No complaints there tho!!! They fit right on my 5 gal buckets easily... but are snug enough to do their job.... and not spin when I try to open the top. Surprisingly these did not have a heavy plastic smell... but I still washed them. I use these lids to store dog and cat food... and it certainly beats buying fancy containers... especially since these STACK like a DREAM!!This particular six pack priced out to be the cheapest around, when shipping is considered. They are kind of thick.. it had to come in a larger box. All in all, one of FAVORITE NEW INVENTIONS OF THIS DECADE! WELL DONE GUYS!!!!!!!! Come out with more colors!!! And I would love to see 6 packs of the same color... Like all my lawn stuff could have green lids... etc.. instead of having to buy all the colors each and every time or piece mail.... Either way... I am in BLISS! Thanks!!!

These Gamma Seal Lids are awesome. Many of the big box home-improvement stores sell buckets that thesee lids simply snap onto, but their lids are difficult to open and close. Put them on 7 gallon buckets and take two to go fishing. One, for the things you want to keep dry and one, for the bait and/or fish you catch. You can place a towel on top and it makes a very comfortable stool. Same concept for the beach or the pool. I put the wet and sandy clothes and toys in the buckets for the return trip home. It makes for a comfortable trip home and very easy cleanup. They work great for storing pet food or kitty litter. The different colors are very useful for helping to organize what you have in the containers. I use the green one for the lump charcoal for my Big Green Egg. They are perfect for storing birdseed and still having it easily accessible.

This set of 6 screw-on lids that fit standard food-safe storage buckets is exactly what we needed. The color coding is handy; the lids screwing on and off makes the contents easier to access than if one had to pry the lids off, and they are very sturdy. I'll be ordering another set!ETA: I did order another set, and am so happy with them! I love both the ease of opening, and the color coding.
