1- They are not silicone, as advertised. Silicone is a soft and pliable material. These are hard plastic. Yes they increase the grip area of the handle and will.make it more comfortable.2- these are a one-bucket use item. Once on, they are designed to not be removed. Kind of pricey to put on a cheap bucket that has a limited lifespan.I found a rubber one here that as I recall was more expensive, but fits over the original handle and can be easily removed for future uses.

If memory serves me right they were made out of a cheapy plastic and would break sooner than others

These bucket grips really made my morning chores a lot easier. I have to carry pails of water to the various duck and chicken pens, and the bucket handles always bit into my hand. These grips solve the problem and fit my hand comfortably.

Snaps on fairly easily. Mine were shipped with the 2 parts in reverse orientation presumably so they don't snap together during shipping. Just be sure to spin them around (the proper orientation is self-evident).Really happy to rehab my favorite bucket.

These were perfect for the bucket that had no grip. Bigger size than the white grips that come standard on most buckets.
