Arrived in sawdust like several other reviews... Like the size and shape. A little hard to get set up quickly but great for long term.

The bins are sturdy and stack well, however they arrived dirty, covered in what appears to be sawdust. Not impressed.

Sturdy, robust boxes, great quality for the money. I bought it for the black colour, but the colour makes it difficult to see the small items I put inside. I use them for bike parts and tires, which all seem to also be black plastic. In retrospect I would have purchased a brighter colour for contrast,.But an excellent product, well worth the price.

As I now note from another review: "Also, they arrived filthy, all covered in some kind of dust." Unlike the normal style we get for all our electrical parts bin needs, these are filthy and will simply have to go back. Not suitable for use in a clean office environment. They seem to be made of some sort of pressed material rather then a smooth clean plastic.

These bins are light weight yet sturdy because of the ribbed and scalloped side construction. There are posts, two on each side, that form the pegs for stacking. The ribs (which define the scallops) and posts decrease the interior space, which is a consideration if storing boxes and other dimensional items. If used for lose items (screws, bolts, etc) it's not a problem. The interior dimensions are: bottom of bin 6"Lx4"W (the sides abruptly slope in about 4" from the top); the lip in front is about 2 1/4" from the bottom; distance from the back to the front lip is 7 1/4 (measured from a rib); width between posts in 4 1/2"; width between ribs is 5 3/4"; distance between posts on each side is 2 5/8" in the center, 2" from the front post to the top of the lip, and 1 3/4" from the back post to the back rib. The reason I've given the specific interior dimensions is because I ordered the bins to hold dimensional ammunition boxes. The space is adequate for the boxes. However, because the interior dimensions are smaller than I estimated, I made more efficient use of the bins by taking the ammo out of the boxes and storing cartridges lose in the bins. This works for me because I have a large number of cartridges for a given caliber. The ribs and posts that add strength to the bins are a plus in my application. One reviewer commented that back of the top bin protrudes about 1/4" beyond the lower bin when stacked. This can be offset by alternating how the bins are stacked. There are four holes in which the pegs can be fit on each side of the bottom of the bin that provide an option for stacking. To offset the 1/4" protrusion in back the next bin can be stacked so that the offset is 1/4" in front. I bought this for a specific application to fit in a Stack On gun storage cabinet (Stack-On GCB-8RTA Security Plus 8-Gun Ready to Assemble Storage Cabinet; see my 15 Feb. 2014 review) and my primary consideration was the external dimensions of the bin. The bins fulfill that application perfectly. I use one side of the cabinet to store three carbines and on the other side I've stacked the storage bins. The bins are open to the door for easy access. One last note if you are stacking a lot of these into one high column you might consider putting them in a space that prevents the column from tipping to either side.

Using it for my dog and cat boarding facility, to hold medications & supplements brought in by customers. These are much sturdier than others I've found, and are large enough for oversize medication & supplement bottles. There is a great spot in the front on which I put some labels cut out of "dry erase" materials, so we can note the dog's first and last names on each of the bins. I knew I would like these, but didn't know I'd LOVE them!!

I got these to organize the various cords, plugs, manuals, installation CDs, and such from computers, phones, tablets and other electronics that I had just shoved in old shoe boxes.When your stuff isn't organized you end up saving everything for fear of needing it one day.These helped me organize the clutter and separate what was good from what can be thrown away.Works like a charm and they look nice on the shelves.Worth every penny.

I have a small computer store and needed some sort of stacking bin system in order to tame the mess of parts and cords I had laying around. These bins are big enough to put most of the parts in and they stack nicely. They also have a nice flat front spot for attaching labels. These aren't the nicest stackable bins I've seen, but they are cheap and work well enough. The plastic feels sorta flimsy, but other than that they are fine.
