Equally suited to ripping and crosscutting, the versatile 10-inch Freud P410 Premier Fusion Saw Blade delivers clean finishes in a wide variety of materials. Thanks to a rigid, laser-cut, anti-vibration body, Freud's Perma-SHIELD coating, and a design that fuses Hi-ATB teeth with a unique, side-grind geometry, it smoothes surfaces as you cut them.

Side-grind, Hi-ATB Teeth for Exceptional Versatility
This Premiere Fusion blade makes big projects more efficient by allowing you to move from start to finish without changing blades or sacrificing precision. The blade's configuration fuses 30-degree, Hi-ATB teeth with Freud's double-side-grind tooth geometry. Whether you're working with hard- or softwood, this design provides a smooth side finish while crosscutting and while ripping. It also delivers flawless, chip-free finishes on the top side and the bottom side, when working with hard-to-handle materials like double-sided laminate, veneered plywood, or melamine.

This high-tech Fusion blade's ideal working range when ripping includes materials that range from 3/8 to 1-1/2 inches thick. When crosscutting, its ideal range includes materials that are 3/4 to 3-1/2 inches thick. It has a 5/8-inch arbor and produces a 0.126 kerf.

Unique Polymer Filler for Superior, Anti-Vibration Design
Like all Freud blades, this Fusion blade is precision balanced and pretensioned for truer cuts under heavy loads. However, its unique design takes Freud's standard laser-cut, anti-vibration slots to the next level. Paired with a specially formulated polymer filler, these slots reduce side-to-side movement for cleaner finishes, longer blade life, and reduced noise while you work. And because the entire blade is laser cut from high-strength steel, you can trust that it will stay stable, flat, and true, even after prolonged use.

High-Density Carbide for Maximum Cutting Performance
This Fusion blade's 40 teeth are finished with tips made from Freud's application-specific TiCo high-density carbide. The TiCo blend used in Fusion Series blades offers a mix of density, hardness, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and impact resistance that's ideally matched to the varied demands placed on a multi-use blade.

With teeth that start out sharper and deliver improved edge retention, the blade can go longer between sharpenings,s and will hold up longer--saving you time and money.

Perma-SHIELD Coating Reduces Friction and Heat Buildup
Built to withstand tough use in less-than-ideal conditions, this blade is finished with Freud's red Perma-SHIELD--a non-stick coating that reduces friction and nearly eliminates the heat buildup that excess friction can cause. By providing complete thermal insulation, this coating protects your tools and your work surface. And it resists binding when the blade is used for large-volume cutting applications, which reduces blade warp.

As a lubricating feature, Perma-SHIELD allows the blade to spin freely while reducing stress on the motor and carriage of your saw. In addition, this coating helps prevent debris collection and resin or "pitch" buildup. Since gummy pitch buildup causes extra drag on the motor of your saw, less buildup is another little convenience that translates into longer tool life and longer blade life. It also means less downtime for blade cleaning, so you get jobs done faster.

This industrial saw blade is backed by Freud's limited lifetime warranty.

I ripped some 1-3/4" thick ash planks today with this blade. Not only did it cut through like butter but it left a finish that could easily be argued it doesn't need sanding. Cross cuts were just as smooth with no tear-out. I'm astounded at the cut efficiency and quality. This now my one-blade-does-everything blade, including chip-free melamine cuts.

I was getting quite a bit of tear out when ripping quarter sawn cherry and oak (both with an FTG rip blade and also with a sawstop combo blade). This blade completely eliminated that. Rip cuts are generally smooth enough to glue right off the saw and crosscuts are almost glassy. I’m super impressed. I was going to spend significantly more to get a forest blade but took a chance on this one and I have no regrets.

I bought this blade for my table saw, and I have done everything imaginable with it. The tooth pattern doesn't leave a flat kerf, but for your general purpose every day use? I've got nothing but good things to say about it. It cuts great, it's stayed crazy sharp. This is a great saw blade for the price. If you're like me, you might be wondering if it's really worth it to spend that extra money on Freud instead of Diablo. Which isn't a bad argument, especially in '22. I had the same questions and finally pulled the trigger and there's no comparison! You can see in my picture and get an idea of what I noticed before anything else and it was the teeth, no they're not the same blade but the 12 inch Diablo blade had nowhere near the steel to resharpen that the 10 inch Freud has. Seriously Diablo probably has half the teeth, and despite having always had good results it was nowhere close to as sharp as the Freud. If you're wondering about making the jump...Do it! Freud is completely worth it, and I don't think you'll be disappointed. I know I'm already moving to Freud for my miter saw's blade as soon as necessary.

Comparable to a Woodworker II or any other high end cabinet saw blade. Thicker rips on my 1.75hp contractor saw bog down a little with the 40t, but for anything short of 50mm/2" rips in hardwood, this blade leaves a fantastic glassy finish.

This is not a dedicated crosscut blade, but new, it gives incredible crosscuts. Better than it should be able to. I tried Cherry, Oak, and Pine, pretty easy to crosscut, and it did fine. I then tried various plywood products, some with very delicate veneers. All cuts unsupported as the blade exited to see what it could do. No scoring, pre-cutting a kerf, taping, or any other method to minimize tear-out. The lack of tear-out was amazing. Much better than my previous 50 tooth combo blade. I think the high ATB is the difference. (And due to the high ATB, you better be careful handling this blade, especially when new. It bites. As far a ripping goes, it is good enough to not get past my laziness on most rips. I have a 24 toot ripping blade, but almost never need to use it for sub 1.5inch thick rips. This may be obvious, but this is not a contender for hogging out dados, etc. The bottom of the cut will be extremely uneven due to the Hi-ATB.My first blade arrive with a broken tooth. It has obviously been dropped before shipping. Freud could use better packaging with more crush zones. Of course, that might cost more than just replacing damaged blades. Whatever, I did not ding anyone, since Amazon replaced the blade immediately. Point being, inspect the packaging and the teeth when you get receive the blade. Carbide is very brittle and does not handle drops well. I would replace any blade that had been dropped, even if not showing a broken tooth. Picking carbide out of my face is not something I want to do.

This is the first time I have ever wrote a review about any products but I was so impressed about this blade I had to pay homage. I recently purchase a new saw and tried using the factory blade even though I had already ordered this blade knowing I wanted more than what a factory blade would offer. The comparison was night and day. The saw even ran quieter (subjectively). I have already cut a variety of different materials and thickness with no significant problem. I ripped and cross cut 1/8" birch ply with no tear out, Ripped and crosscut 1"x12" red oak again beautifully, 3/4" ply same thing and even for the heck of it a 2x4 in any direction and angle I could think of to test out this product. For comparison purposes I did the same with the factory blade as well. The results spoke for itself. I have a lower powered saw and went with the thin Kerf option not only to waist less material but to decrease the work for the saw. This was only slightly noticeable to my standards. The only gripe about this blade was I had very minimal burning to my oak as well as the 1/8" ply but not bad at all. I think it comes down to knowing how fast to feed the material and getting used to my new saw/ sawblade. All in all great product to really go the next step. good clean cuts with no tear out. ready to glue material and no sanding needed. My close friend tried out the new blade and saw the side by side comparison and ordered this blade once he got home. He is amazed with it too.Who ever thought a saw blade could get you excited about how great it cuts something?Highly recommended

Ordered from Amazon a few days before hurrican Sandy struck NY. Hoped that it would leave NJ on the Saturday via I-Parcel couriers. According to the track and trace only left a week later, Saturday the 3rd Nov. Received this morning in South Africa, therefor it took 4 days instead of the usual 21 days normal packages take. Now, onto the blade. Was looking for a combination blade to use for years to come, because I'm not a power user of machine tools. Prefer handtools. Was with some trepidation that I ordered the blade in view of a few bad experiences some woodworkers aparently had but I proceeded because on paper it looked just as good performance wise, if not better, than the Woodworker II, and quite a bit cheaper. Packaging ok, no teeth chipped, cracked or missing. Also very, very sharp, unlike what a few other buyers experienced.Fitted this 10inch blade into my 9inch vintage Delta contractors saw (model 34-602) which I restored recently. I have a 1,5hP 2850rpm motor mounted (original 9inch with 3450rpm arrangement). So, teeth velocity (diam x pi x rps) actually little slower than what a 9inch blade would have been on the original motor arrangement, which is fine. Fits ok with about 10mm minimum space between blade and table saw (fully retracted at 45 deg).So far all my fears and uncertainties have been laid to rest, therefor 5 stars. Now for the reason I bought it for! Will soon give update after trying out some African hardwoods, chipboard, MDF and plywood! Also some soft pine. Will keep you posted!
