For a super high-impact blade that powers through ferrous metals with clean, burr-free cuts, look no further than the Freud D0748F Diablo 7.25-Inch Ferrous Metals Saw Blade. This is your go-to blade for slicing through ferrous metal components such as steel sheets and piping with smooth, non-abrasive accuracy. For strong, long-lasting resistance, the pre-tensioned blade features Triple Chip Grind technology and high-density carbide tips.

Makes Clean, Burr-Free Cuts in Ferrous Metals
Achieving premium results when working with ferrous metals is all about making precise cuts with clean, flat edging. The Freud D0748F makes this process easy, fast, and precise. This blade is expertly constructed with TCG (triple-chip grind) teeth protected by a special carbide blend, designed to deliver outstanding resistance to the powerful impacts of steel cutting.

Contractors, steel erectors, HVAC installers, and other steel fabricators will want to keep this blade on hand for all jobs that call for cutting ferrous metal components that measure 1/8-inch thick or thinner, such as steel studs, sheets, and piping.

(Note: this blade is for mild steel only.)

Produces Smooth, Quiet Cuts with Laser-Cut Kerf
The Freud D0748F's clean-cutting design means that you can enjoy the comfort of smooth performance. The thin 0.102-inch kerf between the blade's 48 TCG (triple-chip grind) teeth is laser cut to provide ease of feed, so you have more control over the blade's position. This helps maximize both the accuracy of the cut and the efficiency of your work, so you enjoy a job well done and the ability to complete more tasks in less time.

An added bonus, the blade's laser-cut stabilizer vents reduce noise and vibration during operation, keeping your work environment more relaxed and your hands more in control. This feature also reduces friction to the blade, helping extend its cutting life.

Features Shock-Resistant Carbide for Long-Lasting Precision
So you can count on it over the long term, the Freud D0748F is designed for durability. The blade's hardy teeth are protected by Freud's exclusive shock-resistant TiCo Hi-Density Carbide formula, which helps fight wear and tear and maintains blade sharpness up to four times longer than standard carbide.

The blade owes its robust performance to its premium-grade steel, which is hardened to HRC 48 for an optimum level of durability. And protecting the blade is a Perma-Shield Non-Stick Coating, which provides resistance to heat and corrosion.

Fits Circular Saws
The Freud D0748F is a great addition to your workshop because it is designed with the versatility to fit a variety of circular saws.

This product is covered by Freud's Limited Lifetime Warranty.

I bought this blade for my skill saw so I could cut off a 12" diameter galvanized corrugated drainage pipe.At first I thought I had my blade adjusted too high but then realized I was already 25% around the pipe.No kickback and no effort to cut all the way around the pipe. It only took about one minute to finish the job. I'm very particular about getting my moneys worth when I buy any product but this blade is top notch quality.I highly recommend it.

I am a complete novice and only used a circular saw a few times. I purchased a garage overhead storage rack and had to cut the posts down a few inches because the hanging post’s minimum height was too long. I did my research on the correct blade and this fit the bill. After purchase I spent about 2 hours watching circular saw safety videos to prepare for when the blade came. The saw easily cut through the 1/16 steel and saw no issues, hardly no sparks but alot of tiny chips I had to vacuum up. I took my time and cut about 24 posts down to size. Blade still looks good and looks like it will last a while.

These blades cut amazing. Cut great and last for awhile. I cut a lot of steel with these. I’ve had 2 of them. The first one I broke a tooth off by jamming it into metal. My mistake. As long as you cut slow and let the blade cut these will last along time and give you great results for weird angles that your chop saw will not cut. Great for long heavy pieces that you don’t want to wrangle into your chop saw. I use it on the job site all the time. Worth every penny

I have used this blade in my Skill Saw to cut 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2” mild steel over 25 cuts total so far and it is still capable of 25 more. No kick back or stalling, smooth accurate cuts with minimum effort. Highly recommend this product. Wear eye and full face protection, steel chips are very hot. 🥵

I was cutting 16 gauge sheet steal with regular wood circular saw and worked like a charm. If I was doing nothing but cutting steal I may invest in a saw dedicated for cutting steal ( I believe they run slower) but for your average joe who just needs to cut some plate steel now and again this worked great. Make sure you wear gloves and face shield as it does throw hot slivers everywhere.

This blade cuts through 3" schedule 40 galvanized pipe like butter on my 7 1/4" circular saw. Because of the toxic fumes, I didn't want to use my angle grinder, plasma cutter or cutting torch. I used this blade to cut all of my 3-inch pipe I used for my solar ground mount system. I made 17 cuts through 3 1/2" OD Schedule 40 galvanized pipe and 28 cuts through aluminum rails without a problem. The blade doesn't appear to be dull after all of those cuts, which I find amazing!3/17/2021 Just thought I would add to my initial review. I just cut almost 6' of various lengths of 1/8" steel plate and the blade is losing sharpness as the last two feet were slow. I neglected to advise anyone who uses this type of cutting system on metal to wear arm covering, gloves and a face shield. I wore safety glasses initially until a chard of metal stuck in my forehead. You can get face shields for less than $5.Would I reduce my original rating, you tell me because, I just purchased two more. I love the fact that you can pick up the metal right after cutting it because, it doesn't get hot, cuts clean, straight, without any preparations. Haleilooyaw!

Excellent saw blade.. I cut lots of metal roofing with this blade... Over and over again.. Cuts metal just like going through butter... Not a problem with this one.. The metal cut isn't hot like when you use a grinder... this is the real deal..
