Personal Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ 3.4/5We recently purchased and subsequently returned the product, as it failed to meet our specific requirements. The saw blade design resembled a typical cutting blade, but it felt more like a piece of metal covered in sandpaper (instead of teeth). One noticeable drawback was the blade's width, which was considerably thicker than what was desired. This wider profile would have hindered our ability to achieve desired cuts, which would have been a bit of a letdown. The design would have made it challenging to accomplish the level of accuracy I expecting from a product of this nature. On a positive note, the product did demonstrate adequate performance in other areas. Its durability was commendable, and it appears it could handle various cutting tasks without significant issues. However, when it came to achieving clean, refined cuts, it didn't meet expectations. In conclusion, while the product had its merits in terms of design build and general cutting ability, its limitations in achieving specific cuts made it fall short of my expectations. I would cautiously recommend it for tasks that don't demand meticulous precision, but advise potential buyers to explore other possible options , such as Dremel or other similar device.

Clean cut, go easy toward the end to avoid splintering which I didn't do, but end result still very good!

I am the go to "mechanic" for our cycling club and needed to help a few members cut down their carbon fiber riser bars or seat posts. Of course I could have used a regular hacksaw blade but those tend to leave a bit more burrs and edges to the surface being cut. So, I decided to try this Park Tool blade for carbon cutting and so far, it has worked well. Not only cutting thru the bars cleanly but leaving almost no burring or sharp edges. (which you can then find sand down with a dremel tool) For the $8 I spent for this blade, I am fairly happy. Five stars so far.

This blade cuts through carbon fiber like butter and leaves a very clean edge. When used in combination with the Park Tool Threadless Saw Guide for Carbon Stems (RG-8), it provides a perfect cut. The blade edge does not have teeth, rather it uses a crusty diamond type cutting edge that makes short work of the carbon. The cut edge is very clean and required no extra finishing when done. I mean zero. The burr left in the inside of the tube was so slight, I just ran my gloved finger around it to clean it off and the head stem cap slid right in. Yes, you can use a fine toothed hacksaw blade to do the same thing, but the way those cut the fiber leaves an obvious serration on the stem edge. This blade grinds the material away and leaves no serration or burr as a result.I am a firm believer in the right tool for the right job, and this blade IS the right tool for cutting carbon fiber tubes.
