Tips

Two Spurs & Center Spur
Two spurs and centering point can offer repeated, clean and accurate cutting holes. The sharp center spur accurately locates the center of your hole.
HOW TO USE
- Put the hole opener into the electric drill before use and confirm that it is firmly clamped before it can work.
- Keep the vertical angle with the workpiece when working. After the hole opener drills through the workpiece, the workpiece should be withdrawn while the hole opener is rotating.
- Please clean the sawdust in time to avoid opening failures during continuous work.
- Workers should wear corresponding protective equipment when working to protect them from working safely, and apply rust oil after use to extend the service life.
WIDE APPLICATIONS
- This forstner drill bit are suitable for cutting holes onto most low hardness wood and wood products. Can easily enlarge existing holes and bore any arc of a circle. Drills flat bottom holes, pocket holes, and overlapping holes.
- Suitable for drilling low hardness wood such as density board, pressed board, plastic, hard wood, etc.
- Suitable for bench drill, vertical drilling machine,carving machine, etc. The bit in the positioning is required to very low speed, and then gradually accelerate after complete position. Add water for lubrication and temperature reduction when drilling.
- NOTE: This forstner drill bit can not drill metal and non-ferrous metal; To avoid causing damage, be sure no nails or other metal objects in wood before drilling; The cutting edge and tip of the opener should be sharpened in time.
WARM TIPS
- Processing hardwood or other hard materials should be injected with water to improve the quality and accuracy of drilling, and extend the life of the hole opener.
- The tool edge and tip should be sharpened in time if they are worn or damaged, or the tool will be damaged quickly. Can not drill metal and non-ferrous metal, otherwise the hole opener will be damaged quickly.

This is not a 2" drill bit but a 50 mm. So if you need exact tolerance this is not the bit to use.

I've never understood why zero stars isn't an option. If I buy a tool that has one job and it doesn't do the job and I want to advise others not to purchase that tool, a star seems misleading.Anyway, bought this bit to drill 24 holes. First four went fine, then on the 5th the bit started to walk. Tried the 6th - same thing. Thought I could overcome it by drilling a pilot hole for the center guide point but bit still walked on the next two holes. then I thought I'll actually start a pilot hole with a 2-in hole saw that I had on hand. Still failed. Unchucked the new bit, chucked up my handy hole saw and finished the project using it. Returning to Amazon.
