Your cart is empty.This is a handy tool for the wade fisherman. Fish rod clamp gives you a convenient way to hold your rod while you rebait or tie on a new fly or lure. One hand depresses the button to open the spring loaded, padded jaws and the other hand inserts the rod into the jaws. The rod is pretty secure once it is in the clamp，both hands are free to work.

I've been wanting some sort of belt clip third hand for holding my fly rod, and this is the perfect solution for backpacking where you want as small and packable as possible in every item, this not only gives me that packability, but also works really well, the claws are coated in silicone/rubber so they have good grip and won't damage anything. And the button is easy to access and quick to work. You just slap it in there and work with your net or pliers whatever you need because your rod is held on your belt. Much smaller and lighter than other options I was looking at. I love it. For what it needs to do, and what it does well, it's everything I could ask for. I might get a bigger heavier duty holster style third hand eventually but that is now a future wish not a necessity anymore. Great product no complaints. Solid.

Very well made fit and function for holding or carrying a second rod. Really love the quick release button.Grips the rod positively and allows quick removal and re engagement.
