These are simple yet reasonably sturdy. I tried some folding types but they bent out of shape and became useless after only minimal use. Unscrewed, they fit nicely in my vest and so far none have broken.

Using with a 7m crappi pole for antenna mount, never had and issue with it. you can screw the metal spike inside the cup but it's hard to do. Bonus is my cat LOVES the clip on bells.

These are great. I use them often to set up poles on the back while fishing. The spikes unscrew and store inside the tubes for safe, compact transport. One of the has bent from hitting a rock in the ground, but still works fine. When these break, I will buy more.

These are great, especially for catfishing. You can stick it in the ground and walk away- the bell will alert you if you have a catch. We used them while we were setting up camp on our last trip. I could go about my business and just go check on my pole when I heard the bell. The holders are nice because you can take them apart and pack them smaller. Just make sure you take the bell OFF before you cast or you will be watching it fly into the water.
