Beyond the additional features that come with a unit like this, the most important thing about an external field monitor is color and brightness matching. I have been trying to find a good monitor but all of the feeldworld ones have this issue. There is no way to work with matching the image to reality. Plus the power issue is gonna be a big issue if you neednit for run-and-gunning. Think I'm just gonna have to save up for a Ninja...

Great monitor, cable included is useless. The Cable Micro HDMI broke during first use. New cables are on the way. Highly recommend ordering something of better quality anyways! Otherwise the monitor works great as long as you use a good quality cable. Tended to loose connection if I was using 4k but not a 4k cable but that’s to be assumed.

Definitely bright enough I don't have to worry about it. The LUT functionality is nice, but it's still not color correct from what we've been able to determine thusfar. One could make a "monitor" LUT just for it, but I do not think that's worth the time.I find it valuable for setting focus, exposure, etc. If you're concerned you're not gathering the correct colour in the field you probably should setup a calibrated monitor and check your footage otherwise.It has 1/4-20 on the bottom and one side which is nice.Touchscreen is responsive enough for adjusting brightness and zooming on areas I want to check have a clear focus.Nitpicky note: it's buried in the product page but it has neither a batter NOR a power supply. I don't use this type of battery, so I fished out a spare 12v DC adapter with a standard barrel jack and it's working fine.

This display runs hot after an hour or so use inside or outside. The battery bricks I have tested all seem to get the screen very hot but I have not noticed any issues or problems with resolution due to this. Very bright outside and is super clear. I love this thing!

I have to say that I am very impressed by Feel World Lut 6. The 6 inch screen is exactly the right size. It is also not heavy. I am very impressed by how much better I am able to see images and video with this monitor in comparison to the 2.5 or 3 inch screen on my Canon 5D Marl II or on my newly bought Sony A7 III. There is a noticeable difference. It is amazing. The brighness levels are great. The touchscreen is great as well. I have not even tapped into all of the capabilities of this monitor yet, but am very happy with it. The $300 I paid was well worth it. Great value for your money!

There is a lot to like about the LUT6, but color accuracy is where it falls way short. Its 6", thin and lightweight dimensions are perfect for an on-camera monitor, better than a 5" or 7". It has a full compliment of useful measurement scopes. The 2600 nits brightness tops most current camera field monitors at any price. But brighter is not alway better. Unfortunately, color accuracy disappoints and frustrates. White balancing with this monitor is nightmarish. It's impossible to see accurate color and skin tone. Black is especially bad. It is just not a good monitor to judge color. These budget monitors are only good for setting focusing and exposure, but the low contrast ratio and color bit depth make them terrible for judging color and white balancing. Final verdict: brightness at the expense of good color.

I have since ordered a second similar product from the same manufacturer, just one size larger, and I'm keeping both. For the price point, it is an incredibly high quality, bright display with versatile mounting options.

This monitor is AWESOME! I got this for its brightness since I tend to shoot more outside in the sun for run and gun purposes and it's perfect! Adding your own luts is just icing on the cake. The features are great and I love how the menu is super simple to access via touchscreen. I also love the 6' size vs the 5' & the 7'. I believe 6' is perfect, not too big or small and fits well on smaller gimbals. I highly suggest this monitor for the price, you won't regret it!
