As mentioned in the headline, the Product is likely normally very good as I have had great experiences with the bike stand overall, however, in ordering replacement rubber coated clamps the packaging was damaged/mostly missing and the product and damaged packaging was still in its partial original packaging with elastics holding it together and then repacked in a larger bubble mailer package without three of the four screws required to use the clamps. That part is likely a 3PL issue, not the manufacturer. I was able to salvage my old screws and wire brush out the old thread-lock but that did not matter as one of the two clamps was either not manufactured correctly or damaged during warehousing/shipping as the rubber coating was damaged. Unfortunately, I am without new and effective clamps as a result. I was replacing these on my existing "Ultimate" bike stand because the rubber breaks down quickly and was going to scratch/damage my bikes. The clamps coating is a quick consumable and should be identified as a weakness in the overall products high quality and excellent design. My bikes tires take a beating on roads, trails and rocks so I know rubber can withstand much more than the bike stand is demanding so hopefully some time can be spent on R&D to improve the rubber on the clamps. My stand currently looks like its in an underfunded bike shop with tape and microfiber towels replacing the rubber on the clamps. That may suffice for some but I take pride in quality things and purchased a high quality bike stand just like I purchase high quality bikes and will wait until I can find new clamps I can touch and feel before purchasing again as I had to drive from Montreal to my USPS mailbox in New York to get them otherwise I have to pay 292% more to purchase them in Canada. Not cool. Perhaps the Pro Mechanic HD/Pro Mechanic Clamp Jaw Assembly is more durable but I am not sure I want to take the risk on time. For now I have ordered a bunch of Ride Wrap for my 5 bikes and will reach out to the company directly on best path forward.

The rubber had fallen off the original clamp leaving metal clamp only so I have been using a rag for the longest time. Wish I would of bought these sooner.

I was pleased to be able to order a pair of clamp jaws because the ones I had were perished.The new jaws were good quality and didn't take too long to arrive.

Works well with the older Ultimate versions as well as newer Feedback branded ones. Grippy rubber and easy to install.

Ultimate Support bike racks was bought by feedback sport in the early 2000s but the parts remain the same! Totally interchangeable!
