The first ice maker that was sent was defective.The mechanical arm was stuck in place and would not shut off the water supply. A second one was sent and so far it is working correctly.

We are happy with it, my ice maker stopped working and I did some research on this product and ended up ordering it, when I got i, I realized that the old plastic bracket wasn't going to fit into the new ice maker ( square hole) so I did some plastic shaving on the old bracket and was able to make it work and ice machine it's been quiet and producing ice I will totally buy this again in case I need another one.

The wires did not match my old ice maker so I had to change them out. It makes a sound like a clock running when it harvests. It is pretty loud. I think next time I will spend a little more money. Cheapest isn't always the best. I had a hard time changing the wires from the old one to the new one.
