Great product and even better customer service! I initially had an issue with the backrest, but the support team was incredibly responsive and replaced the entire chair. It’s also a great choice for people with lumbar pain, providing excellent support and comfort. Very satisfied with the experience!

Got this as a birthday present and I love it!It looks so cool and as a Call of Duty fan I absolutely appreciate the design. I have a bad back so I can't just get any kind of chair, it needs the right kind of support and this chair offers it. So many way to make yourself sit comfortably for hours of gameplay. I've had it for about a year now and it's holding up very well, has felt solid since day one. Love Eureka ergonomic products!!

I'm 6'3 220 and chair fits me with no issues. Love the adjustment all over the place. Can sit for hours and not feel like I have to get up and move around. Not having any issues with the back adjustment not holding like others have mentioned. I do have the adjustable seat slider base noise when getting out of chair. Depends what position it is locked in at. I have mine all the way out and it clicks when getting up, but that is a minor issue. Hope it holds up, I like it.

The chair looks like it would be comfortable for a low budget chair but the lumbar support is unbearable. If I set it low I either have to sit straight up and use it like a stool or slump uncomfortably in a way that I know will mess up my back, I've been sitting in it for an hour and I can feel a tingling of sorts in my back. Some descriptions say that the chair is adjustable but there is no manual so you have to guess at how you do it. There are two knobs on the sides of the they should turn to do something to the lumbar but I think they're purely decorative as there doesn't appear to be any sort of mechanism attached to the lumbar, just a spring that lets it move a little bit. It's a shame because without the lumbar support it would be a pretty comfortable cheap office chair (yes, a sub $500 chair is not "premium priced"). Maybe I'm just too tall, but at 6'0" I'm in the recommended range.Either way I'm truly baffled that this chair has the reviews it does because it is so terribly uncomfortable, I don't get it.

The box that it came in was torn to shreds but I think that was fedex’s fault. Simple assembly but would definitely ask someone to help you. It can be challenging to put it together alone. The chair is very breathable. I get hot easily and this chair allows for nice air flow. I was sore the first few times I sat in it because it forces you to have good posture. But it definitely feels nice after a while. It’s looks cool and feels quality. I had one of those cheap gaming chairs before this and my butt would always get fatigued and it was cheap material. This is the total opposite.

This is my second attempt to post this review as Amazon refused my first attempt saying I commented about packaging. Ok I will not talk about it and here’s my review: I read all reviews before buying this chair and I noticed one mentioned an issue with back rest adjustment as there’s no mechanism to hold it up after raising. Instead it just slams down making a big noise. This is a major issue if you are looking for something comfortable for your back or working for long hours. Also, the chair arrived with some scratches and some white paste around bolts.

This review is written a week after having received the chair. Longevity cannot be commented on herein as a result, but, the company does offer an 8 year warranty if you follow their easy instructions. It is probably a warranty of the pro-rata kind, so expect diminishing value as time passes. 8 years is a very long time and I seriously doubt this chair will be around that long.I have sat in plenty of chairs - from the Aeron chair to a very inexpensive racing-seat style gaming chair - and for plenty of hours. While this is no Aeron chair, it is certainly far better than the cheap racing-seat style gaming chairs. Is it better than the Titan chair though? Well, I leave that to you (and I also have a Titan chair).Shipping needs mention - the box it comes in is slim. Mine had at least to punctures in the box, and one of the spider legs was sticking through just enough that the padding had been worn through to the corner by the scraping it received in the truck(s). Some paint was lost as a result. The box tape was also coming undone. I accepted the chair anyway as that's minor to me (even though it shouldn't have happened at all for a chair at this price). Also during shipping two of the five wheels had broken out of their bag and were loose in the box. They were found before the shipping truck left. Nothing else was damaged and most everything was pretty well packed and protected. If the box had been a few mils thicker likely there would have been no punctures in the carton and the tape may have remained intact. So, packaging leaves a little to be desired - this is a chair on the pricier end.I chose this chair because of the full mesh, which, if done properly, is one of the best seating surfaces as it is more like a trampoline instead of a foam block. The mesh allows breathability, and no-one enjoys sweaty legs or back. I also chose this chair over others with a mesh back (and similar design) because they had that foam seat block. The "racing design" of the chair wasn't as important to me (though it does look very good) as the base features of the mesh and spring-loaded lumbar support which seems to be a better design than others. It is most certainly a better design than the lump-in-your-back pillow which hurts more than helps. The adjustable headrest designed to sit at the nape of the neck is also a good design as that supports the occipital bone and neck when at the correct height and tilt. The chair lacks a rocking ability. It also lacks spring tension for leaning but the tension it comes with is just about right, so that's workable. It would be nice to have the adjustable tension. The chair's seat sliding feature is a must so proper lumbar support can be set up correctly. The adjustable height back works in concert with this. The armrests are well stationed, with narrow and wide configurations, as well as swivel. They fit my desk area very well, whereas more "normal" armrest configurations would not so I was able to leave these in place. The padding isn't rock hard nor is it spongy soft - firm with a little give. Now for some nitpicking... The seat is a little "loose" - it will shift slightly forward/backward despite being locked in place. It does also wobble on the piston a little. The swiveling arm rests are also too loose. They swivel far too easily and slide forward way to easily - especially when pulling the chair forward upon seating. They need to be a kind that locks with a release button. When I assembled the chair, the headrest bolts could not be threaded in properly. They both went in on a diagonal no matter how I tried (and I'm quite mechanically minded). One finally went in correctly (probably rethreaded the zirk in the process), and the other simply wouldn't straighten out. The headrest attachment system locks into place, so the one bolt and that should be enough to keep it from coming apart though. This chair replaced a very inexpensive racing-style gaming chair. That chair gave me severe back pain and leg issues. After a week in the Typhon chair, those problems are gone, so for that I'm grateful. Don't buy an inexpensive racing-style gaming chair if you don't have to - that's a mistake. This is a relatively comfortable chair - offers good support (remember, I've only had it a week, and I tend to have "worn out" a chair after 2-3 years so far) and long hours ergonomics. I don't recommend long stints though - in any chair - as the seat will feel uncomfortable (we aren't made for long periods of sitting either). As for value, though I have no idea what the actual cost-of-manufacturing of this chair is nor consequently its margins, I feel it is a little more expensive than perhaps what is received. Definitely given the faults I've outlined it is a little pricey though those are minor (one can easily get used to those things). If they would address those problems in the next iteration, this chair would be worth the price I paid (which was a sale price). How does this compare to my Titan chair? They're two different designs. The Titan is the more-ubiquitous racing-style design, whereas the Typhon is more an office-style chair. The Titan has a foam cushion which is firm but comfortable, and, sadly not a very good lumbar support (though its conception was pretty good). The mesh surfaces of this chair are actually a little more comfortable and I think will likely hold up longer (especially if the company is willing to offer an 8 year warranty). I would choose this chair over the Titan if I were to make the choice again despite the faults I previously outlined. As for the warranty, well, I have complied with the instructions to post, etc., and as yet have not heard back that the warranty has been extended.

First off I Loved the chair initially but after only having it a week the mechanism that allows the back to raise and lower has broken and now the lumbar support will not stay up. I know I am telling on myself here but I did not plan on returning this product on warranty. I dismantled the chair to see what broke and to my surprise the mechanism that retains the backrest movement is made out of Plastic. Even the gear that holds the chair in its ratcheted position. Since this is somewhat load bearing the plastic broke and fell out. Even if I got a warranty, unless this part is re-engineered with at least aluminum it will not hold up, and the replacement would break as well. I would not suggest purchasing until this poor engineering is corrected. It is very very weak plastic.
