This is some clear glass. Quality looks and feels good as with all Eotech products. Red dot is sharp and crisp. Just mounted if so I’m confident it will be just fine as an EDC red dot.

The unit itself looks well made, the dot looks clear but that’s all I can say about it. After shifting the glass around you can see a horrendous amount of parallax.

I loved these sights until, I began to have issues with two of them losing zero. The dot floated to the top of the sight window. I re-adjusted the elevation and after a few shots it did the exact same thing. Currently working with EOtech to get a replacement. I don't know what happened with them, its like they just rushed these off the line. Pretty disappointed, and have seen a lot of similar reviews with the same problems.

As a professional firearms Instructor and certified NRA Instructor, I do not recommend the EFLX red dot sight. I ordered my first EFLX sight in early Feb. 2023. At about 250 rounds of flat range shooting, the 6 MOA dot turned into a huge bloom and became unusable. I returned it to Eotech and when I received a new replacement EFLX, it also failed but this time, on the 10th round while sighting it in. The 6 MOA dot on the new sight shifted to the top of the glass where it was completely out of sight when co-witnessing the iron sights through the glass. Adjusting the elevation screw did not move the dot at all when I tried to adjust it. I returned the second optic to Eotech and am now waiting for another replacement to be sent. I would NOT trust one of these optics for self defense.I had much higher expectations from a company like Eotech. I have a couple of their Vudu LPVO scopes and love them but, they really missed the mark with the EFLX in my opinion.

Very nice optic! Mounted on Prodigy DS 4.25”. Crystal clear glass and sharp dot. Very easy to install and Amazon pricing is amazing. Local gun shop wanted $385 and I picked it up here for $305!!! I love Eotech and have used them since I was in the Army. They just build tough as nails optics. If you drop it, just dust it off and keep rolling. They always hold zero and I’m sure this new optic will be the same. Eotech just won’t put out a product that doesn’t meet their standards.
