Good tool worked great ..Only thing is the threads are painted so I used a tap&die to clear out the paint to not get shavings in the heads ..

Just rebuilt cylinder heads for 2011 F150 5.0. This tool worked awesome. DO NOT over torque the 4 retaining bolts (bracket to head). Light "snug" is all that is needed. The supplied bolts to retain the bracket to the head only give you a few threads of engagement due to counter-bored threaded hole in head. I successfully removed 32 valves, cleaned up heads, lapped seats, replaced valve seals and reinstalled 32 valves. The valves located at the end on of this bracket are are more accessible than the valves located on the interior of the tool. I used plenty of oil on the main bolt to compress the valves. This kit does not come with small magnetic screwdriver for removing or installing keepers. To retain keepers and place in location, I used small amounts of grease on end of small screwdriver to assist in placing keepers. Great tool at an affordable price point. Worked very well.

The only minor complaint would be depending on what valve your doing it can be a little tricky getting the keepers back in but I really can’t see any improvement that would take care of that issue so all in all it’s a very good tool and it saved about $7500 that dealership was going to charge to fix it.

Worked perfectly out of the box on my 2013 Mustang GT. Makes it possible to do 4 valve seals at a time. Very happy I found it!

Let’s face it, we buy tools to do a thing…This is a tool, it does the thing..Saw others reviews who note issues with bolt lengths. I had no such issue, so hopefully that’s been resolved. You do not have to crank the tool mounting bolts down, there’s zero reason to get them tight enough to strip any threads.Bonus points, if you have a cam alignment tool with case, this tool will most likely fit inside the case as well. Making for an easy storage solution.

This item would have 5 stars if it included the correct bolts. As noted in other reviews, the bolts that I received with the tool were just barely long enough to stick past the end of the mount. There aren't even enough threads for this to engage in the head (2013 Coyote 5.0) because the threads are recessed. I had to go to the hardware store and spend $10 for an additional 4 bolts of M6 x 55 1.00 Pitch. The new bolts worked perfect. I have no idea why they included such short bolts, I can't imagine them being ok to use on any heads with how few threads are available through the mount.Once I had the new bolts and used the spring compressor, it worked great. But the tool is useless without the longer bolts and if you don't have a hardware store nearby with the correct bolts, you are out of luck. The vendor should really change out the bolts and provide some that are the correct length.Attached picture of the mount shows the original bolt with 2.5 threads visible through the mount (foreground), new bolt through the mount (background), Original Ford (2013) Coyote 5.0 cam cap with original cam cap bolts for comparison (you can see the cam cap has some shoulder which is longer than the exposed threads of the original bolt making them completely useless, also note that I've tried to line up the base of the mount with the cam cap to show the length of OEM bolt and the provided bolt), and then on the right of the image is the shorter provided bolt and the new hardware store bolt for comparison. The vendor description says that the 41.5 mm long. They are not. Per standard bolt measurement procedure "Fastener length is measured from where the material surface is assumed to be, to the end of the fastener. For fasteners where the head usually sits above the surface, the measurement is from directly under the head to the end of the fastener. For fasteners that are designed to be countersunk, the measurement is made from the point on the head where the surface of the material is, to the end of the fastener." For these bolts the material would sit under the head, they appear to have measured from the top of the bolt. In addition, the bolt isn't even 41.5mm long which would have given at least a couple more threads but would have still been insufficient.Second picture shows caliper measurement of provided short bolt where it should have been 41.5mm.Third picture shows caliper measurement of new longer bolt at 55 mm.The bolts should probably be at least 45mm long at a minimum, probably 50mm to be safe. I went longer just to be on the extra safe side. I didn't want any chance of pulling threads in the aluminum heads. I compared the length of the exposed Ford bolts through the cam caps and measured the length of the bolts I would need to match the amount of exposed OEM bolt length through the mount to match what was exposed through the original cam cap. I arrived at 55mm. I verified that these bolts didn't bottom out in the head with the provided spring compressor mount. It's frustrating that the vendor would provide completely useless bolts with their mount. Even if the heads didn't have a recess making the exposed threads useless, 1.5 threads is not enough to secure the mount with a spring compressor. I'd worry that threads would strip easily either tightening it down or when the spring is compressed. It's also annoying that I had to spend 20+% of the cost of the tool (which came with bolts) to buy bolts that actually work.

This tool really saves time and makes easy work if you need to remove multiple valves in the same head. No issues, just a practical solution.
