How to Calibrate
1.Place the scale on a horizontal table and twist the adjustment feet until the scale stabilizes.
2.Press the "CAL" key.
3.Place standard weights.
4.Press the "CAL" key again.
1.Remove the weight. After successful calibration, the scale will display "0.0000".

This is a professional scale, such as one you would see in a laboratory.It is very accurate and can tell the difference in very miniscule weights. Sometimes we weigh jewelry to tell its actual metal content and can tell if some pieces are fake or not and this is accurate enough that I trust it to help me make my decision.We ran a test, this scale measured within 0.0002 g from what the $4000 balance read. Repeatability seems to be within .0001g. Pretty amazing given the price point.
