I have two of Ruishan scales, 6 and 10 kg. I use them exclusively for non-stop data acquisition from my process. The scales are robust, easy to operate. In the engineering mode set option 9 to 3, boud in option 8 to 9600, install RS232 streaming program or equivalent and connect the scale to a laptop. Inexpensive and effective

I bought it for the laboratory purpose of continuous data collection of weight of incoming liquid. It does work - 8 data points per second and process has been run for 2 hours. It is really no brainer in connection with key RS232 application.

Great resolution, large capacity, digital output every 2 seconds. A really god value. Remember precision is in the instrument, accuracy requires the operator to calibrate it. With your savings buy and use a calibration weight.

The manual says there are weights included for calibration but none were in my box nor did a see a space for it. I had some smaller weights and although it wouldn't allow me to calibrate with the smaller weights, I weighed out accurate without calibration. The annoyance made me want to give this 3 stars but it's such an nice quality scale, I just couldn't do it. One star off for no weights.
