  • It depends on your demand for precision and the minimum weight of material you will weigh. Please note that scales all has a range of allowable error. If you want the results precise enough to 0.01g, then 0.001g scale will be more suitable for you.

  • Not .For example, if you usually weigh material from 10g-300g, then the 5000g scale is not suitable for you because the sensor of large capacity will take longer time to react when weighing light material. A 300g scale will be more suitable for you.

This scientific scale arrived quickly and well packaged with no damage in transit. The scale comes with all pieces needed to assemble and calibrate. It has adjustable non slip feet that allow you to make the scale level. It has an easy to assemble clear encasement that protects whatever contents you are weighing from the elements. The scale has 10 different units of measurements to choose from, and the ability to count by pieces. This scale has the ability to be connected to external devices using the ports. This is well priced when compared with other products with similar features. Overall, this is a great scale that can be used in a professional or home setting and made calculating weights, quantities, and conversions far easier especially when working with lightweight products. Would recommend.

This is a very accurate and well calibrated scale.I tested it out with my own precision weights, and it seems to be spot on.The balance tray is small, and not meant for larger items - really meant for small precise quantities of things like powders, liquids, gems etc. which is just what I needed.There is a clear glass protector around the scale, to protect from air flow.

Took me some time to get my head around this device so I took some more time to figure just the function and direction to judge this from.What I have seen..1). it does precise measurements to a scale amount limit set by the balance2). The built in level is nice to make sure it is correctly scaling what your weighing.3). Tested it both with the weight that came with it and some I have and its spot onOverall its a technical product used for lab environments that require this type of measurement.
