This order actually worked. Provides a theatre sound experience when adding an amp. between your smarttv and hardwired tower speakers. I used the optical cable between the smart tv and the added amplifier.

This matched the description and seems to be built well. It has provided good sound from my projector to my surround receiver and the adapters that allow the L type connections make routing cables nice and neat!

The cable is very heavy guage. This allows a soundbar to be connected to a TV and deliver excellent sound quality. Very nice surround sound effects. Even with a lenght of 30 feet there was no distortion or signal loss.

The port on my samsung series 6 is damaged and this cable will not lock in.... i never had problems with the standard cables falling out because they are much lighter. The L adapter came in handy....but if the cable is bumped in any way, the weight of it will make it fall out and away from my TV optical port. This isn't a problem with the cable....its a problem on my end and something you should consider first if you have an older TV that may not firmly hold the cable into place. I have it hooked up to a 2.1 black Friday special sound bar i purchased...works well so long as I don't manipulate the TV or move the cable. (I could not use Bluetooth because the TV doesn't support the version and is too old to update.)

Had my doubts it could reliably send consumer optical over that distance. Put it in the signal chain and my admittedly ancient ears could not discern it was there in an a-b comparison.

How do you rate a cable? It’s a cable that does what it is advertised to do, great form, length and over all shape of the cable is very cable-esque, if you will. This astonishingly attractive cable was delivered with speed rivaling a Nascar race. The packaging was the clearest clear of little baggies I have ever seen ( Ive seen a few in my time) and the ease of use was simple, no “touch and go” or “fingers crossed” with this cable. I simply plugged each end into its appropriate receiving port and it performed as I had prayed it would, like a cable. Almost forgot, low maintenance too, why, I dont have to keep an eye on the cable at all, it just does its job, quietly without fanfair, in the background of my life. Excellent cable. Great cable. Cables better than any cable Ive owned in my life!!! I named him Fred, my cable that is.
