This cable got rid of the weird monitor flickering issue I was having when getting in and out of my desk chair.

Perfect Cable for High-Quality Performance and FlexibilityI absolutely love this cable. I use it with my high-end video card and a large 4K monitor, and I don't have to worry about a thick, clumsy cable ripping a connector from the boards. The flexibility is amazing, making it a breeze to organize so it's not unsightly. I can push 4K at 120Hz with HDR without any issues. The cable comes in varying lengths and is priced extremely competitively. I've updated all my monitors to these cables and plan to update my televisions soon as well. Highly recommend!

Flexible and very small diameter making it very easy to run the cable around corners. Fiber optic is not affected by magnetic interference and also no time latency. What more to ask for. Highly recommended.

Cable is thin and very flexable for a fiber optic cable.

Great price but how do we really know if it is actually fiber optic?Works for what I need it for so I am happy with it.

These work great for a couple weeks, or a month but then just stop working. Switch them out with the same brand and length, and the monitor fires right back up, but it goes out again and eventually needs replacement.

I have a 32" 4K monitor on a sit/stand motorized desk. This cable works perfectly - and is thin / flexible enough that it was easy to bundle up with the other cables that fo up and down with the desk. No worries about crosstalk as it's optical, although that hadn't been a problem with my previous non-optical (but high end) cable. That one failed after about 4-5 years. Will update if/when this one goes. This is a directional cable (duh!). Markings were clear, made it hard to get it wrong.

Fiber optics avoids two issues with traditional cables:1) Electrical noise2) Electrical Capacitance, which limits the frequency, i.e. RC timing issuesThe cable is small and very flexible. The ends do plug snuggly into the display ports. This would be about all that could be reviewed regarding a cable, but this cable is a fiber optic cable, which means it uses light to send the signal the length of the cable.Fiber optic cables can run much longer distances without the same problems as electrical cables. This means you can have your display in one room, and the source electronics in another room for whatever reason (security, climate controlled, aesthetics, etc.). It used to be that display cables were limited to much shorter distances. It is finally nice to have fiber optic cables at a reasonable price. For example, Samsung has a fiber optic cable that is proprietary and costs $300.Pay attention to the Source and Display ends of the cable. This is important because each end has a directional controller chip that processes the signals and a SerDes chip to send the signal down the cable. In this case there is also photo electric chips that convert electric signals to and from light signals. It's pretty amazing how much electronics are just in the connectors of each of these cables. This is being used on a 4K display, so only time will tell if the 8K and 16K capabilities are real, however 4K@240Hz working should give some confidence that 16K@60Hz will also work.PROs:+ Solid metal connectors+ Small flexible cable+ Long length+ PriceCONs:- Connector color

This is an update of the initial review; The first cable lasted for only one week. I returned it for a 35-ft wired display port cable which badly flickered and blanked out frequently. So, I had to return this one too, and decided gave this fiber optics cable a second chance, particularly since it has a 5-year warranty. So far it has been doing superbly for more than a month.Initial review.I got this 35-foot cable because it conducts via the much touted fiber optics for reliable long cable runs. It worked fine for about a week. Then the attached monitor blanked off completely for about a second and back on again. This happened about 10 times over a period of about 20 minutes before a error was displayed that "no display cable is attached." So, I'm returning it for another one or something different.I note that of the 35 customer reviews thus far, 33 are by those receiving the free product. No one mentioned a complete cable failure. So, I might roll the dice again.

This fiber optic DisplayPort cable is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a high-performance, future-proof connection. It delivers stunning visuals and smooth performance, making it ideal for gaming, video editing, and other demanding tasks. The fiber optic core ensures minimal signal loss and interference, resulting in crystal-clear visuals. While it might be a bit pricier than traditional copper cables, the superior performance and durability make it a worthwhile investment for serious tech enthusiasts.
