I needed this cause I ran a toslink cable from a different room through the attic and then didn't leave myself enough length to connect the cable to my device.You probably shouldn't get this extension, but if you messed up like me and your lazy, this extension will work. The better solution is to get a cable that is the long enough to reach whatever device you're trying to get to.

I needed a TOS cable extension because mine was just a little too short to connect my old Samsung TV to a Sony receiver. This fit the bill, works great and didn't break the bank

Not sure how to rate this other than it works or it doesn’t. It works. It fits snuggly and there are no audio interruptions due to the cable. I have this connected between my 4K tv and a A/V Denon receiver, and the receiver drives my 5-speaker surround + bass system.
