We used this cable to run a connection from a switch in the basement up into a switch in the attic and are very impressed with this cable. Starting with the quality, everything about this cable is top notch. The cable is tough and thin and the terminations work perfectly. The loop and mesh made it incredibly easy to pull it up two stories between the walls without getting snagged, and cutting back the mesh afterwards to expose the termination was seconds of work. The cable has performed flawlessly and allowed us to run a data connection right next to a 220v 110a line that runs from the basement to attic without interference. Overall a great cable that we wouldn't hesitate to get again.

I recently built a large workshop away from my house and when I buried conduit for the electrical service I also installed a separate conduit for low voltage communication lines. I ran a pull line through and then pulled this fiber along with a Cat 6 network cable and a 2 pair telco line for our landline. The reason for both the Cat 6 and the fiber is that I am using the Cat 6 right now since I already have the switches and routers to connect that and when I update those I will get ones with fiber capabilities. Plus with the fiber being rated OM5 that will allow even further updates in the future. I got the 250ft spool which was more than I needed but I wanted to be absolutely sure I had enough and there isn't any worry about loss at that length plus the price difference wasn't that much. I ended up just coiling up the extra in the house.

"Through glass."I ran YUTIANHOME's 30m/100ft OFNR OM5 Multimode Armored LC to LC Fiber Optic Patch Cable to the auxiliary control room of the lair. The pre-installed pulling eye kit was a bonus. The spool of cable didn't look like it was 100 feet long at first. Upon closer inspection, it was the slenderness of the fiber cable (3mm diameter) that confused me. Once I pulled/cut off the tape/heat-shrink-tube part of the pulling eye kit, it was just a matter of plugging the cable into the transceiver modules already in the switches. It's been almost two months and I have not had any connectivity issues. I should note that the optical ports on my networking equipment are 10GbE and I can't test for for higher throughput - yet. Given the cable isn't going to see much handling in the future, I think it is safe to say that short of a hidden manufacturing fault, or some extreme environmental fluctuations, this cable is going to last a bit. Perhaps I will use it for 100GbE connectivity sometime in the future.

It did work right away right out of the box to help me figure out where my problem was and I am currently using this. I will have to update my review after I have fully tested it, but so far so good!

Nice and thin for armored fiber, as both fibers are in one tube, included coupler is nice. It’s an MMF patch cable

The YUTIANHOME 75m/250ft OM5 Armored Multimode LC to LC fiber patch cord is what I needed to connect my shop network to my house network. For long runs, I always run armored fiber just to protect the run. I'm only running 1G SFPs between it, but it has worked well. Overall, this seems to be a well made cable and should be a great buy.

Purchased this item because of the pull eye adapter that came with it, had to pull cable through 80' of 3/4" conduit, worked really nice for pulling through the conduit. Once pulled through, set up was easy and now I have high speed internet.

I recently added power to a shed in about 175 feet from my house and wanted to put in a wired data connection while I had the trencher. I ran two conduits, one for power and one for data. As I've experienced interference and slow data speeds when even shielded ethernet runs close to power or fluorescent lights. This cable is prepped and built exactly for this sort of purpose. I used a shopvac and wadded plastic bag to get my pull cord through the conduit, then I just tied a loop and used the pull eye to get the fiber cable through. The pull eye sleeve protected the LC connector; the pull sleeve can be carefully excised and reused if you so desired.Plugged into media convertors and SFPs on both ends, I was able to get full 2.5 gig speeds (that my home network can deliver), I was impressed with the sturdiness of the cable and think that it will be future proof for at least 5-10 years.Great value.
