This is a really cute set of molded cake pans. For the 3D effect of the Easter lamb cake, you get two separate molds - one for the front and one for the back. You are to bake them separately, and then frost them together to make a standing "lamb".I basically followed the recipe card instructions that came with these cake pans for both preparing the pan and batter. First, I lightly coated the molded pans with vegetable oil and wiped the excess off before greasing with butter. I also added a dusting of flour. The cakes slid out easily, and the molds were very easy to hand wash in warm soapy water. After baking, I did have to cut off some cake on the backs of both molds to make them even so that I could place both front and back pieces together before frosting. The Easter lamb cake could stand up, and it was just so cute! I will definitely be making this lamb cake every Easter!

I ordered this KIBS Easter Cake Mold in the Lamb version... and I think it is adorable and hilarious!!! You've all seen those nightmarish lamb cakes.... I've always wanted to try one. I'm glad I ordered this! Here's what I like about it:•Lightweight aluminum pans•Can be either put together or you can bake it in the half and half method•Fun lamb shape•A good size to use the cake as a decorative centerpiece•Works relatively well•Easy to wash up by hand, don't put it in the dishwasher because it is aluminumOverall, this lamb cake form is pretty good! I used it with a cake mix, filled it 2/3 of the way full, baked each pan separately, and then let my kids decorate it. They had a blast! We're definitely adding this as one of our easter traditions. MOM APPROVED! RECOMMEND!

This aluminum lamb shaped cake pan comes in two parts, one fitting inside the lip of the other to make a 3D cake. The detail of the pan is okay, like other similar pans. The pan also came with a recipe for a cake. The details of the inside of the pan are gradual, so there is not as much of a chance for getting a cake stuck. I ordered this pan mainly for the shape, as I wanted to use it for a rice crispy treat shaped lamb. The pan worked great for that, the rice crispy treat lamb came out easily and is ready to be decorated (see pic).I was not pleased with the presentation of the cake pan when it arrived, as it came loose in a bubble wrap envelope with the two parts sliding around. My pan had several gouges on it from the pans sliding around (see pic). It would have been nice if the pans had been fastened together with a ribbon.

This is a nice lamb cake pan for Easter! However this is not a truly 3D cake pan like it is advertised. You bake in the two cake pans separately not together then stick the two cakes together with icing. Please note this pan is made from aluminum which isn’t dishwasher safe.

KIBS group Easter Cake Mold Lamb Two Side 3D - Traditional Aluminum Metal Lamb Cake Form for Baking: The lamb cake mold from just like when I was a kid. I was devastated last year when I hosted Easter and did not have my mother's lamb cake mold. It made me incredibly sad. So, it was my delight to see this one on Amazon! It's exactly like the one from the 1950s that she had! It's sturdy, the perfect size for making a boxed cake, and, if greased and floured correctly, will release the cake easily. Soak to clean. The only thing I noticed is that it is not a very tight fit. Still, I'm so happy to have a mold to replace the one from so many years ago!

I ordered this Easter Cake Mold Lamb Two Side 3D - Traditional Aluminum Metal Lamb Cake Form for Baking because ai want to make a lamb cake for Easter this year. This set of two lightweight stainless steel cake pans can be used to bake the halves of a 3-D cake; you need to bake and cook both cakes, then level the tops and cement them together with icing to make a lamb cake. You can also fill both pans, then tie them together before baking so the cake “grows” together. I’ve seen these molds from Wilton and other baking specialty shops, but I’ve never made one before. Here was my experience with the pans. Definitely make sure not to overfill the pans; a little more than 2/3 should be fine. I went online and looked it up, and I’m glad I did, because usually I fill to about 3/4. I decided to try the tie the pans together method, and a 2/3 fill still got me a bit of oozing batter at the edges; if I had filled it more, I might have had a batter mess, instead of a few little extra edge pieces of cake. You want to be sure to grease and flour the pans well; the pans have molded shapes, and you don’t want the cake to stick. I greased and floured, and one of the pans was still a bit sticky. These aren’t no stick pans. The good news is, you’re going to frost the cakes anyway, so if a little sticks (like mine did) you can cover that with some fluffy white icing. The pans have a bit of detail, but the big thing is the shape; they bake a cake that’s shaped like a lamb. There’s a suggestion of a face, but these aren’t like the specialty ones with detailed, molded faces and curls of wool. That’s okay, most of that gets lost in frosting anyway. And you can create a face with icing, cookies, candy, etc. These molds measured about 11” long; they are about 5” tall in the body section and 8” at the top of the head.I’ve never made this particular type of cake before, though I bake all the time. I’m glad I. Started practicing early; there’s a bit of a trick to figuring out how to put the pans together to bake. I think I may try it again before Easter, and use the bake separately, ice together plan. The 3D lamb shape is very cute; I know these cakes are traditional in many cultures. We’re Irish Catholic, baking was never one of my mom’s big things (my husband said like many Irish moms, she boiled her food into submission) but I love it, and I’m looking forward to testing this and creating a beautiful Easter cake. There are so many cute decorating ideas online for pans like these; I was inspired by the decorative styles. The sales page recommends hand washing these; I found they cleaned up very quickly and easily.A nice set of cake pans, ideal for making traditional Easter cakes. The seller included a recipe card with a simple lamb cake recipe; a very nice added touch.
