This worked like a charm, cut thru the tile like butter. it was slightly difficult to eject the tile from the bit. Also a pilot bit would've been handy as it can slip slightly if you don't have the right amount of pressure on it at the start. Make sure to tape the tile at the start to try to avoid this.

Used this to cut the radiused corners for an undermount sink in a marble slab. Worked beautifully. I used it with an attachment to put it on my drill. Then used a wood form with a matching hole clamped to the surface where I wanted to drill. It kept my bit straight and kept it from walking. Drilled 5 smooth holes and will do several more tops. I used just a small amount of water from a spray bottle to keep the bit cool and to clean out the groove from the cutter.

This worked better than I expected for the price. It cut its way through a porcelaine tile in less than 30 seconds. I used it dry and it showed no sign of wear after half a dozen holes. Monts easily to any angle grinder.

I bought this to stub out a PVC manifold on my brick house. I was expecting to sit there and fight with it for several minutes, and I was not planning on using water with my corded grinder.Hol(e)y Smokes! this cut through my brick like it was warm butter, 100% dry. Literally less than 10 seconds to make the cut. The only (ever so mild) complaint I could drum up, is the depth of this is a little less than brick thickness. I took the guard off my grinder and was able to get enough depth to punch through enough to chisel the last bit out with a few light taps from a hammer. This fit on my dewalt angle grinder with no problem. I HIGHLY recommend for 1.5" PVC manifolds.

These bits are fantastic. I have used them on porcelain tiles as well as quartz counter tops. Drives through like butter, clean and precise. Highly recommend!

I used this core bit along with a BGTEC SDS-plus to 5/8"-11 adapter to make some counterbores in a concrete sitting bench that we made for my son's Eagle Scout project. The core bit and adapter had very little runout when it was assembled, so it seemed very nicely made. I cut a few counterbores dry, and they turned out OK, but the bit seemed to get a little clogged up and it cut slowly. I found that dribbling water from a garden hose into the kerf and on the cutting portion of the bit while it's cutting really helped the bit cut much faster and more efficiently. I cut about 8 counterbores that were about an inch deep, or so, into solid concrete and the bit still looks almost like new. It seems like it would last quite a while longer. If you're using a hammer drill with this bit, I'd recommend spinning the bit very slowly, maybe 120 RPM or so, and I would recommend against using the hammer function. Just use the bit in a normal drill, spin it slow with even pressure, and keep it wet. It'll perform well. I'm happy with the product and would buy it again, for sure.

I needed this bit (1.75") for cutting one hole through my brick wall, about 8" of concrete-like brick. I cut the hole dry and I was pleasantly surprised to feel the bit dig into the brick and sink into the hole fairly quickly as I applied firm, steady pressure. Every inch or so, I would back the bit out, chisel off the drilled core, then continue the drilling. About halfway though the wall, I drilled a 3/16" hole through the center of the hole to the other side of the wall with a masonry bit and then finished the job from the other side (the drill bit wasn't long enough and I didn't have an extension adapter so I needed an accurate starting point on the other side) so that the holes from each side would line up.When finished, the drill bit looked as if I hadn't used it at all. All of the prongs were still intact and the carbide chunks (or whatever they are made of) were all still present. Even the gray paint/coating on the particles was still there. The only ding I would give this bit is the fact it doesn't have a pilot drill. It made it a little difficult to start the drill hole without the use of some type of template or jig which was not possible in the tight space I had to work with. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

This drills glass like butter and the hole quality is great. It doesn't leave a lot of big chips on the backside of the hole like the dirt cheap garbage drill bits. If you're doing more than one hole and want expert results buy it. I won't ever use a cheap diamond core bit again on an aquarium.

This bit, attached to a grinder, cut a perfect hole in 1/2" thick porcelain tile. It took 15 seconds. Very little wear on the bit, so I am sure I will be able to get at least 10 or 15 holes from it. Exceptional product.

So let's talk about holes. I haven't had much experience with hole saws in the past, so I was understandingly apprehensive when looking for something to bore a 90 mm hole through the exterior wall of my house to install a Mini Split air conditioner. The preconception with tools is typically the cheaper they are, the lower the quality. I felt like these saws were mid-range as far as price was concerned, but I worried a bit after reading other reviews. Even so, I gave it shot and figured the price was low enough to take the risk.I was blown away. Between this and the other two items, a toothed hole saw and a corresponding arbor adapter for this coring saw, I was able to, albeit slowly, cut through 1/4 inch plaster, 1/4 inch wood lath, 1/2 inch wood (with a nail on the cut line), and 1/4 inch exterior stucco with embedded wire reinforcement with no loss of grit or tooth.I do want to make a few things clear: I do not recommend the grit saw for wood/sheetrock/ other soft materials due to the packing and heating issues it may cause with the grit. It did handle a little wood without much trouble and knocked out the plaster (which is more like concrete) and stucco with wire with relative ease. But, most importantly, you HAVE to take it slow. Do not force the saw to go faster than it is will to on its own and make sure you have a stable hold on the drill because it kicks HARD when it catches in the material, but it will get the job done. I'm looking forward to using these again in the future for my second Mini Split installation.Below are the tools used for this project:Toolocity cbadptr_0038 Adapter For Core Bits-5/8"-11 To 3/8" Triangle Shank, BlackRannb Carbide Hole Saw 90mm/3.54" Cutting Dia Hole Saw Drill Bits for Cutting Stainless Steel & AlloyDry Diamond Core Drill Bits,BGTEC 1pc 3-1/2" 90mm Diamond Hole Saw with 5/8-11 Thread for Porcelain Tile,Ceramic Granite Marble Stone Masonry Brick

It is a high quality tool to cut the marble countertop. I didn't spend 10 minutes to cut a hole for a 30mm thickness countertop and the finish is very smooth. Would buy more if needed in the future.
