I own a shower door shop and drill a lot of tile......I took a flyer on these.....Totally shocked....they are excellent. I can easily get 40-50 holes per bit.Coolant and intelligence is a must, great little bit for a professional.

Okay, so we needed to install the shower doors and external shower fixtures into porcelain shower tile. I bought 2 Spyder brand drill bits strictly for this purpose from Lowe’s and paid about $16 for each. Barely got 8 holes drilled with both bits worn down to the nub. We still needed to install the shower door and I wasn’t trying to spend another $30 for bits. Saw these on Amazon, had good reviews and I figured they’d do the job. Once we had our pilot hole drilled we then used these bits and they worked awesome!!! Used 1 bit & 1/2 of a bit and drilled all 10 holes in less then 15 minutes where the Spyder bits took 10+ minutes per hole! Well worth the money!

I got these to drill holes in porcelain tile in using for Christmas decorations. I watched videos how to drill but no matter how it tried, couldn't get drill bit to start front or back. I wanted to return them but it was going to cost half as much as cost to return them hence 3 stars. So I kept them and now have drill bits I can't use. Hmmmm.

For the price these bits worked very well. Expect to get maybe four holes with each bit. I was drilling porcelain tiles. Maybe with ceramic you might get one or two more holes per bit. They work very well. I would encourage you to watch some YouTube videos to see how to use these. It is completely different than using a whole saw for wood and metal. You have to come at an angle with these to get the hole started. Otherwise it bounces all over the place. These worked really well though.

This item was suggested to me as a tool for DIY. I was more than a little concerned as I needed to drill through a granite countertop and close to the sink cut-out at that. This bit did the job. I did add a little water as I made the cut (maybe wasn’t necessary); it cut smoothly and without heating up.I would recommend.

I was able to drill cleanly through a quarter inch of glass. That said, the cooling bees wax interfered with the cutting towards the end. I needed to dig out some of it to complete the hole. I saw this mentioned in another review, so I was not surprised when I experienced it and it was easy to remedy.
