The lateral cymbal seat is a first in hi-hat design, allowing instant access for adjusting the bottom cymbal angle, a small detail that makes a big difference. The uni-body folding footboard stays attached to the base casting when secured in the folded position.

So this is my second 9000 stand since they were released. They've got a very smooth light action compared to must others but give you a nice sloshy feel. Yes they expensive but you get what you pay for

Ich habe mich nach langem Überlegen für diesen Zwei-Bein-Ständer entschieden, da ich Doppelpedal spiele. Der Preis ist natürlich sehr hoch, aber es ist die bisher stabilste Hi-Hat-Maschine mit der besten Laufeigenschaft. Durch die Doppelrolle spricht der Hi-Hat-Mechanismus unglaublich schnell an. Es gibt mehrere Einstellmöglichkeiten, die einen auch überfordern können. Im Lieferumfang ist ein Stimmschlüssel sowie zwei Stangen in unterschiedlichen Längen. Ich habe die längere Stange gewählt, aber dies hängt natürlich von den individuellen Präferenzen ab. Das Hauptrohr ist sehr dick, insgesamt ist der Ständer sehr stabil. Zwei Beine reichen vollkommen und geben die notwendige Flexibilität.

When purchasing an item of this value, one would expect a certain level of care with shipping that item. I received this item in a box which was put through hell, once opened it was just wrapped in a couple sheets of craft paper. No packing peanuts, foam, or anything. Easily could have been damaged in shipment due to the lack of attention to packing. Luckily nothing is ruined, but I wouldn't buy an item from this specific seller again since there was basically no care but into the shipping.Overall the stand is amazing, DW always hits it out of the park.

I'm a loyalist to DW hardware. It's great stuff and well built. The 9000 series hi hat is as smooth as it gets. Not that smooth is the most critical factor in a hi hat but it's much appreciated. I'm very happy with this purchase and was surprised to find it the cheapest on Amazon. Ordinarily I look to Ebay for my hardware. Very happy with this purchase and as usual, quick shipping!

I was trying to find a 2 legged hat stand with the "LIQUID DRIVE" like on my current Gibralter. Super quality stand and the "liquid Drive" is amazing. Not sure i would ever go back to direct pull.It fits perfectly and allows a kick to the right and a cowbell to the left.Sets up easily. Super steady. Plenty of adjustments without getting crazy. Nice chrome. 2 upper rods in 2 lengths. Short worked fine for my set up.USPS delivered and did not manage to beat it up. It was not in a second box, unusual for amazon. Cost saving?It is a very smooth stand, just as good as my high end Gibralter at maybe a hundred more, but could not find a 2 legged Gibralter with Cam Drive or Liquid Drive anywhere, although it seems they make them.My DW 9000 remote hat does not have Cam Drive..... there is a difference.I guess you get it. Cam Drive is the way to go. I'll stop now.

さすがはDWの最高峰！価格も最高峰なので思わず腰が引けてしまいますが、一度でもこのDW9500を試したが最後、欲しくなってしまいますよ。ダブルエクセントリックカムの採用をした斬新な機能はフットボードと連結した左右のチェーンが、テコ運動を応用した偏心カムを動かし、連結する中央のカムの回転によりロッドを動かすという複雑な機構です。偏心カムのギアの比率を変えることで踏み込みの軽さと戻りの良さを可能にしています。少ない力でかなり軽く踏み込めるので弱点としてはクローズの音が「つまり気味」になる傾向がありますが気にならない程度のものです。また、スプリングをどんなテンションにしても非常にスムーズな動きに変わりがなく本当に驚きました。ジャンルを問わずにオールラウンド的なハイハットスタンドだと思いますが、何よりフットペダルDW9000と並べて使用しているのでフットボードデザインが同一なため足元がとても豪華になりました。製品としてのクオリティと完成度の高さには、大満足です。

I own it, I play it, and I think it's the best hi hat stand available. It's very smooth feeling, extremely well made, very adjustable, easy to set up and break down, folds for transport, and will last a lifetime. By the way, I play it hard- stomp on it with my foot. It takes a beating from me but handles it with no problems.
