Only down side is you can't use the drill Dr to do split tip. Does tell you how in the instructions

This will make your dull left-handed 135° split-point drill bits useable again, which in itself is 100% worth the price of the item. HOWEVER, you can't use the split-point grinder on the side that comes on certain Drill Doctors (like 750x) with left-handed bits, it will destroy them (I found that out the hard way). So while this will allow you to sharpen your dull LH bits making them useable again, it won't get them as good as they were when brand new. Hopefully Drill Doctor one day comes out with a sharpener that lets us grind split points on our LH bits.

It's a little pricey, but this chuck worked great along with my DD750 to sharpen the left handed drill bits that came with a screw extractor set. I really don't think I would have been able to sharpen them anywhere near as well on a bench grinder. At least not on the first try anyway.I also managed to sharpen a set of the one piece X-out damaged screw extractors using this chuck. I'm not sure if the cutter angle is exactly the same as the original, but it doesn't really matter because at least they are now useable and I probably would have had to just toss them out otherwise.
