This did a fairly poor job at cutting 1018 steel. It would probably work well on aluminum or softer metals but I cannot recommend it for steel at all.

Was working on a 1911A1 frame and was having a hard time cutting the barrel seat with the tools provided by the manufacturer. Did some research and found that this size and style bit would do the trick for those who have a mini mill. It worked a treat!

Actually a pretty decent endmill. I used it to re-machine several pieces of built-up cast. Machinable rod was used, which made things easier, but there were still hard spots in the material. It lasted through the job which was what I was looking for.
