We've got a saying in my shop, 'ZahyoX Rox.' I'm not a machinist, I do have three vintage mills (2 working, 1 in rebuild) among the many other vintage machines on my shop floor. I am carpenter by trade and am familiar with the philosophy, 'Time is Money.' I understand and have followed that philosophy in the purchase of most of my tools. Currently I find myself in the throws of, the never ending process of, learning to machine parts on mills, lathes and surface grinders. When you're learning to be a machinist, 'Time is definitely not money.' Money is destroying a 200 dollar Kennametal end mill because you miscalculated. 2 of those is about what I paid for my 1948 Covel Tool and Die grinder. I can't buy junk tools and expect to learn either. I need quality end mills that work, last, and still let me pay the rent and eat some rice and beans. Happily, I've found a few companies that do provide that for me. Zahyox is one. Are Zahyox end mills as good as Kennametals? I don't have a definitive answer with empirical data for that question. I am about 99.5 percent certain the resounding answer to the question is: NO! Like I said though – 'Time is not money,' in my apprenticeship (Youtube being my teacher). I'm not concerned with production – I'm concerned with learning and longevity for my dollar. I have been fortunate enough to receive some ZahyoX end mills for review, and have purchased more of them. Their TiAlN coated carbide end mills have a beautiful finish and are elegantly machined. Used at the right rpm they cut like a hot utility blade through the soft tissue of my left hand, and the TiAlN coating leaves a beautiful finish on steels. Likewise, their ZrN coated end mills cut and leave a beautiful finish on aluminum. I've been using Zahyox' TiAlN and ZrN end mills for more than 6 months now. All are still cutting well, and some of those I have used extensively. I have no doubts, that used as intended, my ZahyoX end mills will last a very long time.I've done tests with this 3/8” TiAlN coated Ball Nose in Cr Alloy steel and it performs excellently – as well as all my ZahyoX end mills.Currently this end mill is selling @ a 50% off - 21 fiddy $ - Comparatively that is Insanity at it's Best.7 Stars for The ZahyoX 2 Flute Solid Carbide TiAlN Coated Ball Nose End Mill~ Thanks for Reading - Have an Incredible Life! ~

Nice, sharp, ball nose end mill. Works well on my Onefinity CNC cutting 3d carvings from hardwood. I can't speak as to the durability/longevity of this cutter, but performs as well as previous imported cutters that I've tried in the past. There are other 1/4" Ball Nose End Mills available at a lower price point that cut just as well.

The ZahyoX ball mill makes a great substitute for steel mills. When replacing a steel 2 flute ball mill machining aluminum, the ZahyoX option makes for a much faster and cleaner cut, while infliction less wear on the tool itself. The reduced burr from the enhanced finish quality will save both time and effort. A wise choice!

I use this on a CNC router to make 3d relief so foam. It work very well and isn’t a silly stubby thing. Long enough to get some decent side milling. Good value for money.

The seamless compatibility of these outstanding bits with my Bob's CNC Evolution machine has left me thoroughly impressed. Utilizing them mainly for 3D rough and finishing cuts, they have proven to be a game-changer. After approximately 8 hours of active milling, the 1mm bit shows no signs of wear, staying sharp and delivering exceptional surface finishes on titanium. Without a doubt, I will definitely purchase these incredible bits again.

These impressive bits have completely won me over with their outstanding performance. I now use them exclusively and have been running finishing passes for about 10 hours over the past week. Even after all that time, the cuts remain clean and precise. They are a significant improvement over generic ebay/china bits, and I am now a devoted customer of ZahyoX. Given the choice, I will always prioritize purchasing their exceptional bits over any other brand.
