Your cart is empty.A safety notice, SAIB: CE-09-4, issued on July 24, 2009, alerts users of Cessna 100, 200, and 300 series aircraft about the need to replace Landing Light, Beacon Light, and Taxi Light switches at specified intervals. These switches, when failing, can cause overheating, smoke, and even fires in the cockpit due to contact erosion after approximately 4,000 cycles of operation. Cessna service bulletins MEB09-3 and SEB09-6, dated May 11, 2009, detail inspection and replacement procedures based on the switch's time in service. The FAA recommends adhering to these guidelines within the next 400 hours of operation, 12 months, or the next annual inspection, whichever comes first.
