Says it carries 35amps at 125v burnt up After a week on a 15 amp electric motor. Don’t waste your money go to local electric store and get a weatherproof switch box

I used this to provide a switch capability to two hot tub drain pumps. Out of the box the pumps have no switch and are turned on and off by unplugging the power cord. Shakey if you're trying not to run the pumps while dry. This switch box has 4 input ports. Couldn't find one with 3 (source, pump 1, and pump 2. ). It would be nice if they provided screw in plugs for unused portsI had to buy a bag of 20.

Bought for my portable fish house and run 2 light strips off it. Seems to be holding out water. It is a bit large for a switch but for being water proof it’s worth it

It has tight quarters inside; but wow, what a great package! I'm hanging it on my workshop, outside, next to my battery gauge; so i can switch-on the solar panels, when I need a charge, without having to go inside.

This switch is manufactured with waterproofing and outdoor use in mind, for marine use on a boat, or maybe outside in the weather. The case has a watertight o ring style seal, the cable ports also tighten up to seal, and the switch itself is also protected.Setup and install was easy, and despite the manufacturer stating the LED only glows with 110AC, I do get a faint glow from it with 12v and 24v DC configurations. You probably wouldn't see it in the sun, but you could see it at night, or in a indoor environment. In my setup one switch is on my solar panel input line, and the other is on the battery line, so I can have a kill switch between the power sources, and my cheap charge controller. The cool part about the LED glowing, is that I can see when my panel is generating power, and at night the LED fades off as the panel stop generating power.Overall I like these switches, they handle my setup well. They are good quality for the price.

These are DPST switches; this means each switch can control both hot and neutral on a 120V circuit, and both hot leads on a 220V circuit. Choosing a double-pole switch such as these is a good safety precaution, especially when used with 220V. I’m using one switch to control a table-mounted woodworking router and the other for controlling its dust-vacuum system. Both the router and vacuum are relatively high-amp devices. The switch assembly is IP66-waterproof rated. This means it’s also dust proof, which is something necessary for where I’m using it. The switch was easy to install, and works well. The wire connectors looked a bit small, but accommodated 12-gauge wires without problems. I routed the ground wires in so they can be connected together inside the box. It was a tight fit. It would have been a lot easier if the box was a bit larger.
