When I bought this manifold and gasket I assumed that since it says that it includes required gaskets and hardware compatible with select Jeep models that it would come with the hardware to mount it to the motor but it does not. I was reading about this before I bought it and was glad I didn’t have to buy the bolts separately but now I’m disappointed.

Purchased these kits for both sides, 2006 Jeep Commander 4.7 V8. The manifold itself was great. However, like the other reviewer, the heat shields for BOTH manifolds did not fit. Unfortunately I didn't think to check this before putting the first manifold on the engine. It then became a tedious game of trial and error to make the modifications necessary to get all 4 bolts on. I eventually ended up drilling new holes that lined up with the manifold bolts, and yes, I did have the longer bolts in the rear as required. The heat shield for the other side was much easier to modify with the manifold still on the work bench and not bolted to the engine, although I was very frustrated I even had to do this in the first place and wasted at least an hour of my time trying to get it to fit and then making modifications.The second big issue here, was that the downpipe hardware was defective. The bolts were fine, but the nuts were actually an oval, egg shape! Needless to say they would not screw on to the bolts and I had to use my own bolts instead. Obviously there is no quality control on anything other than the manifold and gasket, which again were great, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of the one star that I really want to.In short, be prepared to "adjust" the heat shield or reuse the old ones, and be prepared to supply your own hardware. The kit did NOT come with the manifold bolts (not that I was expecting it to, but the description isn't very clear on that) and the downpipe bolts were complete garbage.

The manifold and gasket worked perfectly for my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. However, the dealership couldn’t get the new heat shield to fit so they had to reuse the old one

Item came quickly. I wasn't going to pay the dealer $1000.00 to fix a leaky exhaust manifold on my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee so I decided to buy this which fits perfectly and no more exhaust leak noise. I plan on also purchasing the driver's side now and fixing that leak as well.
