This block has a lot of unnecessary material in the wrong places, and lacks material in the important places. It’s way heavier than it needs to be. I was expecting more from vibrant considering many of their products are very good.There’s no reason for this block to be aluminum, unless you plan to make it a structural member of your car. Plastic would be a much more suitable material.The large central npt port is machined too close to the edge with very little material. If you torque this fitting down the block is prone to cracking along this very thin wall of material. Disastrous oversight considering the block is easily thick enough to provide sufficient wall thickness on either side of the hole.Can’t recommend this product at this price point. The cheap Chinese blocks don’t have these oversights, and make significantly better use of material.

Quality is excellent, here are my notes:- No fittings included, so price adds up.- Six 1/8" NPT fittings (two of them are on wither side)- One 3/8" NPT fitting- **Note to newbies** - NPT fitting sizes are the devil and have almost nothing to do with dimensions you're likely to measure. If you think you have fittings at home, but not sure, check the pics uploaded for comparison.- Plugs for all ports included, you'll need a 5/16" and 3/16" hex key for these.- Logo differs than what was pictured. Not big on the shiny logo, wanted the understated all black.- Little surprised, hollowed out in rear upper half. So half of it is just for the logo advert, which means no real functional purpose, and if your firewall space is at a premium, take measurements first.- Finish is excellent.- Manufacturing is solid. Clean threads. Though I'll add a little teflon tape, threads tighten down properly. The 3/8" NPT has 3 threads of engagement for sealing before hitting the cavity. The 1/8" NPTs have 5-6 threads.- Package marked "Made in Taiwan".Will definitely do the job. Still, a little pricey - considering no fittings and the big advert, I'll probably look at purchasing something different next time out of sheer curiosity for comparison.

Love Vibrant products. Looks great and works even better. Helped clean up my vacuum system aesthetically and my vacuum readings are more stable and more accurate.I didn't see this in the description so I'm going to add it here. Inlet is 3/8" npt and outlets are 1/8" npt. Make sure to use thread paste or PTFE tape to get a proper seal.Lastly, I tee'd into my brake booster line for the main source of vacuum. I would probably recommend adding a separate half inch port to your intake manifold and leaving your booster alone, but it worked out fine in my case.

After seeing some of the other vacuum manifolds out there in person I am very happy that I went with this unit. The new version is easy to mount and it looks great in my engine bay. It's been installed for a bit over a month now and is certainly holding up. Right now it's tied into my brake booster and it's running the boost controller, blow off valve, and my boost gauge all at once. Everything is working flawlessly and I don't have a single complaint.
