Like many others have pointed out, the screw is on the wrong side. Or, rather, the part is molded upside down: the open side faces up, which is counterintuitive (and I would recommend adding a washer to spread the clamping load over a wider area). Plus. the screw is so long that it pierced a hole in the inner fender on my TJ.

You're going to install it backward... :DThe curved edge faces the battery. This thing is a PITA to fit on a Wrangler. The screw is a mile long for unknown reasons. But without it on a TJ, good chance you'll wreck the hard to find ECU with a loose battery.

The part works perfect on my 2006 Jeep Wrangler. Just like the OEM part. The only minor issue is the bolt is in backwards. Just put pliers on the keeper washer and back out the bolt. Put it back in the opposite way and you are good to go. If you read the other reviews, everyone is complaining about the same issue, You would think the company would read the reviews and correct the problem????
