Given the price point and the fact that it is just a sheet of plastic, it leaves some things to be desired.Pros: The die cut for the fuse panel, latch and hood bump stop are nicely cut.The thickness and rigidity are good.Cons: The overall dimensions are off and required trimming on the back edge.The texture and sheen don't match any other plastic in the engine bay.Installation tip: Remove the rubber seal from the battery compartment. Line up the three die cuts and mark a line for trimming. I used a set of tin snips with success.

The price is really high for what it is, a piece of plastic with a couple of holes in it. Requires some trimming to make it fit. I could make one cheaper knowing what I know now.

It is a rough surface. I sanded mine smooth and painted it to match the color of the car.

I have a lot of extra wires running across the top of the battery due to additions to the car electronics. The cover is a nice tight fit. Add a C5 decal on the top and it looks great.
