I have a large poodle who has had ear infections because of the hair in his ears. This product has the ear powder which helps a great deal in allowing the hair to be plucked without trama to the dog. IT comes with a tweezers to use as weel as an electric clipper. It is all you need to keep your dog's ears in the best shape.

I wish this would be like the numbing powder they use at the vets office. Although it makes it easier to pull the hair, it still puts my baby through discomfort. It didn’t bother him too badly. It may just be my furbaby that’s why I’m giving it a 4 star, because this may be a great product on someone else’s furbaby

I have a 3 month old Toy Poodle pup and wanted to start getting him used to inner ear grooming/maintenance now so he will be easy to groom as an adult. This ear powder really does work. It is super easy to use. Just massage into the ears and then pluck out the hairs with almost no trauma. With my adult girl, it is a big battle to do this and she hates it, but now with this powder, it has really made a big difference and even she is much calmer about her ear grooming. The kit comes with the ear plucking powder, and a hemostat plucking tool. The hemostat functions well for the hair plucking and is a nice tool to add to my grooming supplies. Overall this is a great kit that makes hair plucking an easy job. Less trauma for both human and doggies and is a great way to start teaching puppies to be used to grooming sessions, especially for Poodles that get a lot of ear hair which can get impacted and cause ear infections if not removed regularly.
