I like the end of this as it is softer when you need to get it in your dog's ear. It dispensed a generous amount. The scent is coconut like to me. It did help loosen debris and left her ears smelling better. I don't believe this is as good as some though that leave like a coating to help decrease build up, but it works for general cleaning.

Works well for our cat. I'm cautious about the applicator since it's long and he has little ears. Despite using a more shallow application, I haven't noticed any leakage with it, but I can't quite tell if it dries quickly or not. At least it's easy to use. As for the smell, I can take it or leave it, but it's not strong. It's pleasant.

I kept my pup's ears clean all winter long when she usually gets pretty waxy during the cold, dry season. It was easy to use, and she didn't seem to mind, which is a huge win in my experience. I only went through half the bottle this winter, so I plan to use it throughout the summer and see if there’s any difference in seasonal effectiveness.

The shape of the bottle is great and made it a lot easier to clean our dog's ears. It didn't cause any irritation, and we were able to get her ears clean quickly. We got great results and were pleased with how easy it was to use.

Nice little product. I appreciate the applicator as it makes it a bit easier to use. Unfortunately, my dog wasnt enjoying this and kept just trying to yank away so I might need to find a better alternative. It did clean. I dont think its a product problem but rather a personal problem and I think it is 100% worth checking if your dog is calm

We’ve had the opportunity to try a bunch of Douxo dog products lately, all with great results. This latest product, their gentle ear cleaner, is a necessity in our house. Our 80lb poodle mix develops cruddy ears frequently and routinely. We’ve found a few products that work but many of them are quite expensive. That has led us to use the expensive medicated products 1-2 times per week and the more gentle cleaners to fill-in surrounding the use of the medicated products.Our first use with this product was great. Light smell but mildly/pleasantly scented. No issues getting the debris to release with this product, we just followed our usual routine which includes one generous flush and scrub followed by a lighter flush and scrub with a new cotton flat.The pipette end seems like an upgrade over all other products we have used. Granted our dogs ears are large enough that the other applicators have not presented an issue, but still, this style seems superior regardless. We also follow up some of our dogs cleaning sessions with Douxos odor control shampoo https://amzn.to/4hFRn9u It seems like every so often after cleaning our dogs ears, the fir just takes on a little too much debris and needs attention to promote clean ears and we’ve found that shampoo to be a great compliment to this cleaning regiment.Excellent product, very happy with the results and container design.

Squirt in the ear, squish around and wipe. Should be fairly easy unless you have dogs like mine. First ear on dog #1 I would say removed about 75% of the dirt and gunk but the harder wax pieces it didn't really soften as I expected, so they remain behind. Meanwhile dog #2 split as he wants no part of this new product. Ear #2 used more product thinking it would help but still pretty much the same results. Very watery and even just putting on my fingers and rubbing them together I don't see or feel were it does much. Will continue to try this but think I get better results with the pre-moistened finger wipes.

The applicator is easy to use and has a mild, pleasant scent and does a good job of releasing debris with minimal effort.
