External Diameter

La règle graduée du pied à coulisse n'est pas gravée sur le support métallique, mais est simplement une bande auto-collante grise collée sur le support métallique. Ce qui démontre une qualité de fabrication médiocre et bon marchée. Chez moi, la bande graduée était endommagée et décollée sur un demi-centimètre en début de graduation. Avec le temps, toute la bande graduée risque de se décoller, rendant le pied à coulisse inutilisable. La qualité est trop médiocre pour le prix demandé. Je ne recommande pas cet instrument, même pour des bricoleurs occasionnels.

Stopped working. I took it out of the case, battery dead. Replaced battery and it won’t shut off or move off zero.It has very low usage. It is almost exactly a year old.

Decent quality all stainless steel and using 3v battery-also has backlight. Fir the price £20 ish a decent enough purchase-i bought 2 more for Xmas gifts so recommend

Works fine, for awhile. Then, it reads half. Exactly half to the thousandth. Measure 1 inch and it reads 1/2. Figured out if I take out the battery and reinstall then it works perfectly… for a few days then it will start reading half again. So, this ain’t going to work out…. Contacted. Had me put in a new battery. If that doesn’t solve issue they will send a new one. Very good with that. Still odd it read exactly 1/2 . So we’ll see what happens.

So the tool works great, but be aware that your screw keeping the ruler from leaving the guide will probably come loose. It comes in a solid and nice case. Get extra batteries. It works great, I would say this is awesome, but spend a little more for something that can convert to fractions. It may save you time getting one with that built in feature instead of calculating it separately. But overall accurate and solid aside from that loose screw.It's great and works well. Tighten that screw, maybe spend more to automatically convert fractions, but if you don't care for that, go with this.

From the first time using these they were rough to slide, machining is terrible. Didn't use them for around two months picked them up today and stuck solid. When I press the zero button it tries to change to inches. Piece of trash, in the bin.

I make tumblers for my home based business, and one of the things I hate most is having to measure the cups to create a properly sized full wrap for them. If I'm short by even a 1/10 of an inch, it'll be very noticeable. This prevents that completely!! There are lots of shorter versions that would work for 60% of the items I sell, however, I also have tall water bottles and tall, skinny tumblers, and the smaller tools weren't long enough to measure those. This thing has definitely made my crafting life so much easier!!!> Very easy to use!!> Very easy to read the digital display! > The backlit display button makes it useful even in poor lighting.> The measurements are extremely accurate - far more accurate than I'll ever need!!> The case is a really nice benefit, and I could see it being perfect if kept in the garage or basement workbench, but admittedly... I keep the tool in a drawer in my craft space for quick access, so the only purpose for the case right now is to hold the replacement batteries it came with... for now, anyway.

UPDATE: Company reached out to me and sent a replacement. The replacement is a HUGE difference. Everything seems tight and moves smooth. When I power "On" it stays on, when I power "Off" it stays off. So far so good. Only time will tell if this holds up.Original: (1 Star) The electronics are very spotty on this. Every little bump will reset the screen. If you turn it off and set it down, it will come back on again. If you go to slide it with the screen on, it will reset on you. If I could return it at this point I would, but I'm part the date. DO NOT BUY THIS if you want any accuracy.
