Great tool for everything from diesel engines to small engines. We've been able to use this to rule out/or narrow down engine problems without needing to tear down the engine. We've been really happy with this affordable kit so far.

I honestly made a mistake and did not realize this compression testing kit was specifically for diesel engines. I thought it would work for other engines as well, but with the extended center tubes, it probably wouldn't be safe to use this where a spark plug would go. Additionally the psi goes to 1000, so it's usefulness for my purposes would have been limited anyway. I think the kit comes in good order, and the case is nice. The parts feel to be made of good quality. Now I need to find a friend with a diesel engine to donate this to.

I have not had the opportunity to use all of the adapters, but they all seem reasonably well made. It should cover most anything I will ever encounter. I don't trust the gauge to be accurate, but it should be close enough to indicate the general condition of an engine.

Worked well on my 08 Duramax. Easy to setup and use. It comes with my different adapters to work with my diesel engines. I tested the accuracy using another high end tester and it was definitely very close. You could buy several of these for the price of one of the other brand and it works just as well. I would recommend
