It did not hold pressure unless the meter was held into the hose tightly. I was doing this alone so I used tape to hold it together and it worked.Returning because I do not think that the meter has to be taped together in order to work specially being new.

So basically I bought this product 5 months ago from this review date. Now the problem is I finally took it out of my toolbox and used it on my hyundai santa fe, and the first cylinder test was at 50 psi, 2nd was 50psi, 3rd was 125 psi. The bmw runs way more efficiently than the hyundai but I continue to test the 1st cylinder on the bmw and it comes up to 0 psi. Mind you I pushed the release valve and made tried to test the seal on the adapters but it would never read after using it on the bmw. You know something wrong when none of the cylinders have any compression but the whole car runs back and forth o. The highway.

The main advertising point of this device is as a brake bleeder. I believe it will work for that, but I have a larger air compressor powered kit for that work. If I didn't already have the other bleeder I'd have no issue using this kit.I purchased this kit to be able to test vacuum circuits and switches. For that it works great. Comes with nice assortment of adapters and a nice storage box.

I’ve had some softer brakes for the life of my vehicle. It’s just been something that I’ve accepted. However I figured I’d give this bleeder a try and it actually helped out my brakes.It gets the air out of your lines and makes for a much firmer pedal.Just make sure you have plenty of brake fluid and keep the res topped off!Easy to use and the case has a spot for every piece of the kit. Really appreciate that!

I used it when I did my last maintenance on my brake lines, and it did a good job pulling air bubbles out of the system. I like that it comes in a case to keep everything together, organized and protected. It may not be enough for a hard core mechanics, but for me it's perfect!
