I got these to drill a few holes into my Porcelain tiles in the bathroom. Porcelain is notorious for being difficult to drill into and you wouldn't have a chance of getting a hole drilled into the tiles I have without any diamond drill bits. These drill bits are every bit as good as the ones I have used before, and it's great to see that they have included three of the most common sized drill bits in the set - which is the 6 mm ones. The 5 carbide tipped drill bits and the 5 dry diamond drill bits both have 3 of the 6 mm bits and they also have a 8 mm bit and a 10 mm bit in the set.Why I got this set is because i know that I will also be drilling into concrete and that the carbide drill bits are the best ones for that purpose. As this set has both types of drill bits I found that these were really good value or money as they definitely look well made and come in a nice plastic little box.I managed to get through 2 of the 6 mm diamond tipped drill bits when drilling the holes in my bathroom and that's how many bits these tiles have taken in the past in order to get the job done, so these are definitely on a par with the best ones I have and is the reason why I have given these 5 stars.

Did the job for me ... Had to drill 12mm holes into a Marble gravestone to attach a bracket. Just took my time and cooled/ cleaned bits regularly and got nice clean cuts.

These come in a plastic storage box, but they are loose in it and have bubble wrap to stop them rattling into each other. Unfortunately a couple of mine had done so, and so a couple of cutting edges were chipped on 2 of them. Probably would not effect performance too much.Be careful when ordering at there are several different options - I picked the wrong one in erro and got 10 all the same size, not a selection of different sizes. This made the £22 (Jul '24) price even worse value IMO.
