I got this to upgrade my Solar array on my RV. I wanted a disconnect along with protection for the array, and this met my needs. It is a simple install, and after a bit of math to make sure I won't exceed the 20a rating I installed it. It works flawlessly to shut off power, and I hope to never need to test it's ability to fail over. I would definitely order another if I ever need one.

This is an AC/DC miniature circuit breaker. It is for 12 volt to 400 volt and 20 amp. It is used as a disconnect switch for your solar system panel. I got this because I am building a solar array and I want to be safe. You will generate a bit of electricity from your solar panels and before you play with the wires you should have this circuit breaker installed so you can shut off the electricity pulsing through your wires. This is of an excellent quality and it comes with the little rail to mount it on with an instruction page.
